I’m obviously building agents for myself already. One thought Mog’s masterclass left me with: What if our users become agents too? If energy traders increasingly operate through agentic workflows, should Zeus be thinking APIs and MCPs that speak directly to trading agents?

Great agent masterclass by @mogmachine @proofoftalk On my first day at @zeussubnet. I sat down with Mog for 45 minutes. He spun up Poppy and had it tear through Zeus from an outsider’s perspective. The report is now pinned above my desk. It laid out my job for me.

One thing that immediately caught my attention: better weather forecasting helps get more renewable energy onto the grid. Very interesting... I'll be writing a blog post about that soon 👀

Weather forecasting is a trillion-dollar data problem. Yet, traditional APIs still rely on legacy physical models hitting structural accuracy ceilings. With Zeus, we took a different approach. Based on feedback from desks and consultants, we overhauled it to reflect how energy traders assess data vendors before deployment.
