@nagev1cklee__ Eh. Zelensky is arguably happier to kill your people. Probably cause of all the money he gets out of it.

@JohnOBrennan2 Strange. Usually its the anonymous accounts that have nothing to respond with but petty quibs. An odd reversal of roles, goes to show the state of modern academia.

@robertmcguinn18 @SammySam12121 Does this use the same research that IT used when they published a similar FF/FG party line that was reveales to have been funded by the US Government and Billionaires such as Soros and Bill Gates?

170 new IPAS arrivals this week. 52% (88) single military-aged males, Mostly from Somalia, Nigeria, Pakistan & Afghanistan. Why is Ireland importing fighting-age men from the world’s most unstable, high-risk countries? This is a national security threat, not any real asylum.

@jjsalmo Piss poor attempt, Mr MI6. If you bothered to read it (you probably should’ve after seeing Ireland at 2), you’d realize it uses GDP, GNI (not GNI*) and doesnt factor AIC or cost of living/PPS.

@SimonPGruber @danobrien20 “healthy” is a bit liberal, the Government can only afford to brag about its “budget surplus” due to the egregious overtaxation of its own citizens.

@danobrien20 No. It just says we are far healthier fiscal position than pretty much any other EU member. Certainly than Spain.

Spain is the most left-wing government in the EU. Ireland's intervention on a per person basis is far larger than Spain's. Does that say anything about the political orientation of the government?

@danobrien20 But Ireland capitulated to the right. Do you imagine the farmers, hauliers, various climate deniers, anti Ukraine/immigrant protestors etc. were left wing?

@_KylieJender You have it the wrong away around: only 75 are funded EU/Irish places. The 225 are non-funded Non-EU places: costs some €60,000 per year seemingly.

75 of 225 places in medicine at RCSI are reserved for non-EU places. Of those 75 places, Irish students are competing with 25 other EU countries.

My friend's daughter was in her third year of Uni and set to become a very good nurse. She only had 4 months before graduating. Whilst on a shift in hospital, she was told by a senior nurse that out of all the nurses set to graduate, they would all be competing for just a handful of places, meaning many of them would NOT be employed for the job they had spent 3 years training for. She cut her losses, quit Uni a few weeks later after having that information confirmed, and got a job working for a big insurance company. Another girl, very close to our family, also spent 3 years in Uni, from 2022 - 2025 studying to become a radiographer. After their final exams, all of those studying the same course (around 34 students) were told that only 8 of them would be successful in gaining employment as a radiographer with the NHS. They even advised them to consider emigrating to Australia through a programme, and that they would get financial help for the first year if they accepted. Fortunately for her, she was successful in getting a job in Cardiff. But having been there for over 7 months, she is struggling to understand why so many graduates are not being offered jobs with the NHS, when they are recruiting nurses from other countries... Like, are there vacancies, or not? And why are many nursing graduates being overlooked or being told there are no jobs, when there are jobs which are being given to foreign nurses? It makes no sense at all...

@MoorcroftRico It is true that sending civilians back to Zelensky once more is sad, akin to feeding a starving bear, it is up to the people of Ukraine to replace the dictator. They showed the strength to resist when he tried to disband the anti-corruption bureau, they must show it again.

The enthusiastic frenzy to return innocent civilians to an active war zone is truly abhorrent. The attempt to link providing accommodation to neutrality is ... laughable.
