Try this angle Gary. There was a clear elbow into the neck of our player Trusty that could have constituted a penalty but the high hand is absolutely indisputable and the ball hits that high hand. Whether in the first minute or last minute that is a penalty. Hand is in an unnatural position 👌

@RyanCryle Never a penalty. He needs to have deliberately moved towards the ball. No, Trusty's jump pushes his hand there. Or secondly, he needs to have made made his body unnaturally bigger. Also no. Trusty jump and his hand is where his forehead is. No pen. Now way. Shambles.

I’d quite like Hearts to win the league, but, on reflection, I think it’s a penalty under the rules and once the referee’s attention has been drawn to it by VAR.
Unlikely a VAR intervention, and wouldn’t have been given if it was a Motherwell claim in the Celtic box, I fear.

Handball. Very brave call from the VAR and referee under huge pressure.
These are the calls we want referees to be taking, this is the purpose of VAR.
Others would rather play with narratives.
