@dbtindall @MizzzAlia Near Stanley Park Taphouse and Starbucks in B terminal. Carl’s was good but slow. BTW the slowest workers are at Tim’s in Terminal C… the absolute worst.
English

@MizzzAlia What? I don't ever remember seeing a Carl's Jr at YVR. Where was it?

@KEriksenV2 Carney will slither away and live in another country once he’s done leaving us with a garbage country.

The stupidity of the Vancouver Parks Board. They want to spend $30 million to reconnect a lagoon to the ocean that few really care about. But need to cut lifeguards.
The entire parks board needs to go.

#VanRE "Park Board received a $1.2 million increase to their budget. I too, am curious as to why ... to reallocate lifeguards away from 5 city beaches," @KenSimCity said. Park Board unanimously approved a plan to reconnect Lost Lagoon to the ocean for $30M.cbc.ca/news/canada/br…

@AJWVictoriaBC @jjhorgan @bcndp @BCGreens @SelinaMRobinson @Dave_Eby @Conservative_BC The government doesn’t need the opposition party telling them to do the right thing… do they? The responsibility starts and ends with the government. We should be telling them to step down.
English

Not good news. In 2020, when @jjhorgan & I led @bcndp & @BCGreens, BC had a triple-A credit rating. @SelinaMRobinson left @Dave_Eby with a record surplus. Meanwhile @Conservative_BC fight gender wars in their own far right echo chamber & @bcgreens are f-bombing the oligarchs. Is there an adult left in the @BCLegislature ? #bcpoli vancouversun.com/news/downgrade…

@TristinHopper @JJ_McCullough Who’s the dumbbell in the middle… of course, it’s Canada.
English

@JJ_McCullough What about that time Wilfrid Laurier gave birth in the House of Commons, and the baby could speak Latin?

I don't want to overstate it, but this is literally most dramatic thing that has ever happened in the entire history of Canadian politics.

@ChrisConte79 Please tell me it’s mathematically impossible for the Canucks to screw up the tank… please.

@ChrisConte79 Additional by subtraction does not multiply the division.

Doesn’t matter what Dizzy Lizzie says. We all know she’ll support anything and everything Liberal in a vote.
She is a hypocrite with zero common sense.

Elizabeth has gone from supporting Carney and his budget to now saying in all her years since being elected in 2011 the Liberal Government under Carney is worst Government yet.

@danwarren6 There was only one game… drill your opponent in the back with the rubber ball.

The county assessor brushed me off like a nuisance.
"Don't like my assessment, file a complain."
So I did. 4 hard copy letters, each 8 pages long.
One to the Chief Administrator, one to the Reeve, one to the Manager of the Assessment department, and one to my councilor.
"As a taxpayer who funds your salary and the operations of this county, I expect, and demand, a level of professionalism, diligence, and respect that you have utterly failed to provide. Your response was not only inadequate but insulting, treating me like an annoyance rather than a citizen entitled to fair treatment.
You offered zero explanation for your selections, no analysis of my arguments, and no willingness to investigate further. Instead, you arrogantly suggested I immediately pursue a formal appeal—a process that stinks of bureaucratic "lawfare," designed to wear down citizens through endless red tape and forced compliance rather than addressing legitimate concerns head-on.
This is not public service; this is evasion of your responsibility. Your attitude reeks of entitlement from someone in a position that exists solely to serve the public, not to lord over it. You have completely failed to perform your duties, showing a blatant disregard for accountability and transparency. Frankly, in an era where artificial intelligence can process data, compare properties, and provide reasoned explanations far more efficiently and impartially than this, your role seems ripe for replacement by AI....something that would undoubtedly improve service for taxpayers like me, and lower the County's expenses.”
That's just a small section. I find that in this day and age, a hard copy letter still gets better results than an email. So does a follow-up call requesting a meeting with the county manager.
I’m sick and tired of the way taxpayers are treated by the bloated civil service in this province.

@TristinHopper Funny that, I can sing a pretty good rendition of ‘I Saw the Light’. We may have something here… ha.
