If for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, then the “Shootin’ Starts,” bigger, and better, and stronger than anyone has ever seen before. It was agreed, a long time ago, and despite all of the fake rhetoric to the contrary - NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS and, the Strait of Hormuz WILL BE OPEN & SAFE. Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate. Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two week period will allow the Agreement to be finalized and consummated. On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the Countries of the Middle East, it is an Honor to have this Longterm problem close to resolution. My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Member Officers, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is now SAFE and SOUND! This brave Warrior was behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted down by our enemies, who were getting closer and closer by the hour, but was never truly alone because his Commander in Chief, Secretary of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and fellow Warfighters were monitoring his location 24 hours a day, and diligently planning for his rescue. At my direction, the U.S. Military sent dozens of aircraft, armed with the most lethal weapons in the World, to retrieve him. He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine. This miraculous Search and Rescue Operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave Pilot, yesterday, which we did not confirm, because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation. This is the first time in military memory that two U.S. Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory. WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND! The fact that we were able to pull off both of these operations, without a SINGLE American killed, or even wounded, just proves once again, that we have achieved overwhelming Air Dominance and Superiority over the Iranian skies. This is a moment that ALL Americans, Republican, Democrat, and everyone else, should be proud of and united around. #UltimaHora #Comunicado @Defensamx1 se hace del conocimiento a la opinión pública que, con trabajos de inteligencia militar central, del Centro Nacional de Inteligencia y de la Fiscalía General de República (FEMDO), Fuerzas Especiales del Ejército Mexicano planearon y ejecutaron una operación en Tapalpa, Jal., en la que intervinieron diversas aeronaves de la Fuerza Aérea y la Fuerza Especial de Reacción Inmediata de la Guardia Nacional para lograr la detención de Ruben “N” (a) Mencho. Durante esta operación, personal militar fue atacado, por lo que en defensa de su integridad repelieron la agresión, resultando cuatro integrantes del grupo delictivo “CJNG” fallecidos en el lugar y tres heridos de gravedad, quienes perdieron la vida durante su traslado vía aérea a la Ciudad de México; entre estos últimos se encuentra Ruben “N” (a) Mencho, sin embargo, serán las autoridades correspondientes las que se encargarán de las actividades periciales para su identificación. Además de lo anterior, fueron detenidos otros dos integrantes de esta organización delictiva y fue asegurado diverso armamento y vehículos blindados, entre los que se encuentran lanzacohetes capaces de derribar aeronaves y destruir vehículos blindados. Lamentablemente durante esta acción militar, tres elementos de la institución resultaron heridos, quienes de igual forma fueron trasladados a instalaciones sanitarias de la Ciudad México, para su atención médica de urgencia. Cabe hacer mención que, para la ejecución de esta operación, además de los trabajos de inteligencia militar central, dentro del marco de coordinación y cooperación bilateral con los EUA, se contó con información complementaria por parte de autoridades de ese país. En estos momentos se están concentrando elementos de la Guardia Nacional y tropas del Ejército del centro del país y estados aledaños a Jalisco, para reforzar la seguridad de esta entidad federativa. Con estas acciones la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional refrenda su compromiso de contribuir al fortalecimiento de la seguridad de México. Ejército, Fuerza Aérea y Guardia Nacional, la Gran Fuerza de México.

Thanks to President Trump’s leadership and commitment to global law enforcement - as of this morning, the DOJ/FBI officially apprehended our SIXTH Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitive within the last year. Thank you to @AGPamBondi for her relentless pursuit of justice, the US Attorney’s Office in L.A., and FBI Los Angeles. Ryan James Wedding was taken into custody in Mexico last night. He is being transported from Mexico to the U.S. via FBI FTOC to face justice. Wedding is believed to have been hiding in Mexico for over a decade - and has been wanted on charges for cocaine trafficking and murder since 2024. He was allegedly running and participating in a transnational drug trafficking operation that routinely shipped hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from Colombia, through Mexico and Southern California to the United States and Canada - as a member of the Sinaloa Cartel. This operation is the result of tremendous cooperation and team work with the Government of Mexico. Special thanks to our amazing partners in Mexico who facilitated this - President Sheinbaum, Secretary Harfuch, Ambassador Ron Johnson, Legat Mexico, and more. Our federal partners @TheJusticeDept @StateDept and more were also instrumental in this. Our HRT, CIRG, and aviation units did outstanding work. This is the SIXTH Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitive this FBI has captured within a year - fugitives who had been on the run for almost 40 years combined. That’s no accident. President Trump is letting good cops be cops and the results speak for themselves. Derivado del acuerdo alcanzado con el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos, el 22 de Enero, ayer recibimos la visita del Director del FBI @FBIDirectorKash , Kash Patel. Se llevaron a cabo dos reuniones: una con el equipo de la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana @SSPCMexico y otra con la Oficina de la Fiscal General de la República @FGRMexico . Durante los encuentros con el Director del FBI @FBI y el Embajador @USAmbMex Johnson se reconoció el aumento de las operaciones coordinadas para la detención de generadores de violencia y de objetivos prioritarios que impactan a ambos países. Se acordó continuar el trabajo coordinado en beneficio de ambas naciones, con pleno respeto a la soberanía y la integridad territorial. Las reuniones se desarrollaron en un ambiente de respeto, y se acordó seguir fortaleciendo la coordinación, que ya ha producido resultados concretos. La cooperación se mantendrá y se reforzará el intercambio de información, con el propósito de fortalecer la seguridad de ambos países. El Director del FBI partió hoy rumbo a los Estados Unidos, llevando consigo a dos objetivos prioritarios: una persona no estadounidense que fue detenida por autoridades mexicanas de los 10 más buscados por el FBI y un ciudadano canadiense que se entregó voluntariamente ayer en la Embajada de los Estados Unidos. El respeto y la responsabilidad compartida continuarán siendo los principios rectores de esta colaboración.

Esta mañana el @GabSeguridadMX trasladó a Estados Unidos a 37 operadores de organizaciones criminales que representaban una amenaza real para la seguridad del país. La acción se ejecutó conforme a la Ley de Seguridad Nacional y bajo mecanismos de cooperación bilateral, con pleno respeto a la soberanía nacional. A solicitud de @TheJusticeDept, se estableció el compromiso de no solicitar la pena de muerte. Dichas personas fueron llevadas a las ciudades de Washington, Houston, Nueva York, Pensilvania, San Antonio y San Diego, a bordo de 7 aeronaves de las Fuerzas Armadas. Con este traslado, ya son 92 criminales de alto impacto enviados a EE.UU. en esta administración que ya no podrán generar violencia en nuestro país.

Por instrucciones de la Presidenta @Claudiashein, sostuvimos reuniones de trabajo en Torreón, Coahuila con el Gobernador @manolojim , así como con empresarios y distintos sectores productivos. La coordinación permanente entre el Gabinete de Seguridad @Defensamx1 @SEMAR_mx @FGRMexico @SSPCMexico y los gobiernos estatales es una prioridad para fortalecer la seguridad.
