@SeismoSue @TrueFactsStated Speech/Language Pathologists with Certificates of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) are very hard to find. They easily get $75/hr with guaranteed 40hr work weeks. It requires a Masters degree. Who in their right mind would think they aren’t professionals?

@TrueFactsStated This one may not be that awful. Guidelines for student loans include a provision for a "professional "degree, i.e. medicine, law. Students borrow a lot of money but go onto make a lot of money. Not good to allow liberal borrowing for degrees that won't lead to high incomes

@lukeburgis @Airbnb Always take pre & post possession photos for all rental cars, hotel/AirBNB rooms. Ask to have the damaged floor examined by your hired expert. Find a solid trial lawyer dealing contract/fraud cases. Countersue. Seek big damages. Force their hands.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed at an @Airbnb in NYC in November. Perfectly normal stay. Nothing happened. When we left, the owner said there was a small stain on the hardwood floor he couldn't clean and said it took him $7500 to fix, including literally replacing floorboards. We know nothing about this, saw nothing, looks totally unfamiliar. Feels like insurance fraud, or something? AirBNB took his side because we couldn't provide a picture of the floor at the exact minute we walked out the door. Are you kidding me? Has anyone else had an experience with AirBNB like this? Any attorneys who know how to deal with this sort of absurd claim?
