The reason the whole glazediver/whindiver split is so hardcore now is because glazer was banned in the main discord and subreddit. After people pointed out that glaze was banned, and callying someone a crydiver wasn't, then they banned that. Any logical person sees the bias, and then naturally they purposefully want to break unfair rules.
Most people agree the hardest difficulty should be difficult. The problem is that 90% of the deaths in helldivers feel cheap. If I die to a hunter, a heavy devastator gunning me down, an enemy normally killing me, etc. It would feel like I'd be able to improve my gameplay to avoid it. But no, "difficulty" for hd2 is lets put as much ragdoll as possible, and also spam the new "hardest" or "annoying" enemy as much as possible.
Spawn seeds are one of the biggest problem with balancing in the game. 60-70% of bot missions are war strider spam. Do you really think people would have war strider fatigue if it didn't feel like every mission? When they added vox engines, the weakpoint design was immaculate. But they spammed 5 vox engines every 2 minutes. Would this be a problem if we had a normal cyborg seed and then a vox engine surge variant?
Also there's not enough spawn seeds in general. Why don't we get some cool seeds like a bug mission that's primarily stalkers, bile spewers, and bile titans. I've played this in a modded lobby and it just looked cool as shit.
The other issue is the antagonistic balancing, but that's a conversation that's been had many times.
The point is that people have valid criticisms on these systems, but it's all brushed to the side and I've constantly been told since launch I want the game to be easier. When year 1 of the game I was breaking it, and me and claysthetics were kill farming. Difficulty 9 could spawn more than 4000 bugs consistently. Iirc the highest kill farm was 4600. What do your kill counts in squad missions look like nowadays? I heard the new gloom strain actually spawns a lot of enemies which is cool.

Game Director Casey Hudson has revealed the creative team behind the upcoming Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic.
- Dan Fessenden (Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect) as senior technical designer
- Melanie Faulknor (Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age II, Dragon Age: Inquisition) as director of external development
- Caroline Livingstone (Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, Dragon Age) as director of production and performance
- Ryan Hoyle (Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect trilogy) as chief technology officer
- Pascal Blanché (Myst IV: Revelation, Runescape, and Far Cry: New Dawn) as art director
The golden age Bioware DNA is all over this game, with the presence of original KOTOR devs being especially strong. The Fate of the Old Republic seems to be in good hands.

Halo 2 and Halo 3 Remakes Reportedly in Active Development
According to multiple sources cited by Halo insider Rebs Gaming, full campaign remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3 are now in early active development at Halo Studios.
The new remakes will follow the same approach as Campaign Evolved: -modernized visuals
-updated gameplay mechanics such as optional sprinting
-strict focus on the single-player story experience.
-Multiplayer content will not be included in these projects and is instead being handled separately for a future title.

Valve co-founder Gabe Newell appears in the promotional video for Leviathan, the 111-meter Oceanco superyacht he owns.
Newell acquired the Dutch shipyard in 2025, and the vessel was delivered late that year.
At 364 feet long with a gross tonnage approaching 5,000 GT, Leviathan features diesel-electric hybrid propulsion, scientific laboratories, a professional dive center, medical facilities, and thoughtfully designed communal spaces.

Yo @ShamsJorjani This explains the state of the game better than any patch notes ever could. A CEO mocking criticism, hiding behind filtered feedback, and acting like loyal players are the problem. Helldivers 2 is a game where youtubers hyperbolically tell community things are terrible and that shooting weak points, an aspect thats been insisted upon since before the games launch, is not possible or a viable option.
We could do with less youtubers is my point.
