We are tremendously saddened to learn of the passing of Boston Marathon icon Dick Hoyt. Dick personified what it means to be a Boston Marathoner, finishing 32 races with son Rick. We are keeping his many family & friends in our prayers. bit.ly/DickHoyt

@lindsaycrouse Same. I miss group runs and have gotten much slower. But I started rowing again a few times a week and attend zoom classes. I'm hoping when I feel like running more again I'll have a solid base to not get injured.

Some people die of COVID-19. Others recover. Still others neither die nor recover fully. It seems I may belong to this last group, and the experience is challenging me to practice what I preach about mental fitness like nothing else ever has. 8020endurance.com/in-it-for-the-…

@hornekerjustin Tightrope by Kristof and Wudunn. It's about how the "middle class/low class" has been losing ground since the 70s and includes research based examples of how education, support, and training could drastically improve our country.

Listen up. Today Oregon set an alarming record for daily COVID-19 cases. To get back on the right track, I need each Oregonian to do their part to drive down the spread: ✅Keep gatherings small & outdoors ✅Keep your distance ✅Wear a mask ✅Wash your hands ✅Stay home when sick

i just don't understand how a university that charges 15k+ per year for tuition cant figure out how to keep a team around that at base level really only requires travel costs and a coach... there wasn't any better options? are they really saving that much money....

@ameliaboone I sort of want an elliptigo. How does your speed/effort on it compare with running/cycling? Could you add a basket for a quick run to the grocery?

Climbed to 14,000ft up Mount Evans on the Elliptigo. Even though I had to stop and push it at points, the rutted out descent was terrifying, and I was pretty sure I was going to be blown off the side of the mountain by the wind, 10/10, would recommend. B… instagr.am/p/CE17PjphIiQ/

@RunNerdGirl My friend and I had this conversation last night about how it's so interesting going for a run can be scary. I'm proud you did it and thanks for sharing. It helps the rest of us to know we're not alone in that feeling
