It’s actually mind boggling, that the TCG design team, who the community regularly maligns for making cards underpowered or over-balanced, legitimately figured out a way to make a coin flip card playable and the OCG still though this was acceptable to print on a card

Walked away with another one of these bad boys. Gonna try to rack up as many of these mats as possible. Played a few pods with different variations of the list and this is definitely where the deck should end up (I couldn’t find a little Kirin all day, definitely necessary).

@MV132156 @DanSchneierNFL It’s only two players, we swapped our fourth this year for the third used to take Fields, so we only lose the opportunity to draft someone with the fifth used this year and the fourth next year, which IMO is a fine trade this year in a draft that is very shaky on late round depth

I think where he was picked is the range for him, but I just see a limited upside to his athletic profile.
I like his profile, but not when you could’ve had 3 players w/ the capital.

A foundational belief that informs all of my opinions on Yugioh’s design at this point is “cards that disproportionately benefit the player going second are always a net positive.” This card is clearly meant to bolster a style of deck that uses breakers rather than handtraps.
