@michaelryan756 @Ausbobsmit So cooked how many people lap up this nonsense. Thanks for going to the effort here, I hope this gets seen. NDIS rorters are absolute scum but turning this into a racial issue on some bullshit hearsay for engagement is shameful

1. Fraud is well under 1% of NDIS payments Source: Australian National Audit Office (ANAO), NDIS Fraud Control Program (2023) Quote: “The NDIA assesses the level of fraud in the Scheme to be less than one per cent of total payments.” Citation: ANAO Report No. 27, 2022–23. ⸻ 2. No demographic group (migrants or otherwise) represents 96% of fraud Source: NDIS Fraud Fusion Taskforce (NDIA, AFP, ACIC, AUSTRAC) Quote: “The Taskforce targets organised criminal activity across the sector. Offenders include Australian-born and overseas-born individuals, with no predominant demographic profile.” Citation: NDIS Fraud Fusion Taskforce — Official Joint Agency Briefings (2022–2024). (This wording is from the official joint-brief media statements.) ⸻ 3. Minister for the NDIS has stated the fraud problem is industry-wide, not about migrants Source: Minister Bill Shorten – National Press Club, 28 June 2023 Quote: “Fraud is being driven by organised crime and rogue providers, not participants, not ethnicity, not visa status.” ⸻ 4. AFP confirms the offenders include Australians & non-Australians — no 96% figure exists Source: AFP Commissioner Reece Kershaw – Senate Estimates, October 2023 Quote: “We are dealing with a range of offenders, including Australian citizens and overseas-born individuals. The AFP has not identified any one community as the cause of NDIS fraud.” ⸻ 5. The $600 million figure is about estimated total fraud risk, not migrants Source: NDIS Independent Review (2023, “The Tune Review 2.0”) Quote: “Estimated leakage could be as high as $600 million annually, driven by system weaknesses and provider misconduct.” No mention of migrants. No demographic data at all. ⸻ ✅ Bottom Line (with citations baked in) •Fraud is <1% of NDIS payments (ANAO). •Offenders come from all backgrounds, no group dominates (NDIS Fraud Fusion Taskforce, AFP). •No government, audit, AFP, NDIA, or parliamentary report has ever produced a “96% migrant fraud” statistic.

Labor imported migrants are responsible for 96% of all NDIS fraud. A whopping 600 million per year is stolen.

I sincerely appreciate the time and effort Aaluxx has dedicated to ideating and drafting up this proposal, but I do not support this proposal in its current form. TLDR: Dual LPs are not "first class citizens" with this proposal. This proposal will convert synth units in the liquidity pools to protocol-owned dual-LP positions in 30 days. This effectively "locks in" the impermanent loss caused by savers leverage for dual-LPs (many of whom are down 90-99%), right at the absolute bottom. This is because the opportunity to benefit from leveraged synth upside has been removed. It's a very tough task but we need to balance the interests of all parties with this proposal, and to me this feels like a raw deal for dual LPs who have repeatedly been screwed over (albeit unintentionally) for years. I'm not sure I have a good solution to this, I'm just highlighting the impacts of this proposal. Perhaps synths could only be converted to POL at certain price ratios for each pool, allowing DLPs to still potentially benefit from synth leverage to the upside.

P6 Implementation Plan open to commentary. Phase 0 & Phase 1 will be subject to node votes in the following days: gitlab.com/thorchain/thor… Special thanks to the dozens of people who’ve met with me this last week to make sense of it all and find a way forward. @THORChain $RUNE

Most people can’t bond, or can’t bond without losing control of their $RUNE. I have LPed for almost 4 years and am still underwater. How long is your long term? For 99% of holders RUNE has no use case and does not benefit from adoption. The tokenomics purportedly are driven by capital deposited into the ecosystem, but almost no one is rewarded for depositing capital into the protocol. It is a wonderful successful project that has no appeal to investors who can allocate capital better elsewhere.

@PrincePajeon I recognise that's a small cohort though, and I see what you're saying. It has been interesting to chat this through, thanks for your thoughts.

@PrincePajeon RTS' are hard. IMO you have to commit and put in some hours before playing them becomes worthwhile. Maybe its just PTSD from trying to get friends into SC2, but I worry about that cohort of 'casuals' that will be discouraged from committing, because they are already behind

@PrincePajeon I personally will watch the showdown. I will keep up to date on changes. I will consume anything Stormgate chooses to give me - and they have given me plenty. So day 1, I will have an advantage over those that did not. In my eyes that is 'anti-competitive'

@PrincePajeon I don't mean competitive in the sense of 'being able to compete at the highest level'. I mean competitive in the sense that participants are playing the same game with the same mechanics and the same knowledge available to me.

@PrincePajeon @itspch_ @PlayStormgate This way doesnt *also* advertise, it *only* advertises. You can't tell me you honestly think the function of a showmatch is be a 'beta' or testing ground for bugs. If anything, it marginalises the casuals that don't engage with the game until launch

@PrincePajeon @itspch_ @PlayStormgate I have no issue with a closed beta for a limited audience of playtesters, behind closed doors. That's not what I'm talking about - paid early access and broadcasted tournaments are a different kettle of fish entirely.

@Runecat1 @itspch_ @PlayStormgate You are asking for something which is just not feasible and leads to a worse product by definition. You "falling behind" because others have had access to the beta is so far down the priority list compared to allowing developers to iterate features/gameplay/mechanics.

@PrincePajeon @itspch_ @PlayStormgate It seems anticompetitive to me. Likewise with paid 'early access' situations, which are also common. It's gross to log in day 1 and realise you're somehow already 6 months behind the curve. Particularly in a competitive RTS... Not happy Jan

@Runecat1 @itspch_ @PlayStormgate This is not a tournament, it is a series of showmatches. This has happened in countless games in the past and will continue to happen. It's essentially an advertisement.
