I went to my osteopath today - a mid 50's, white, well-educated and middle class lady - who I've known for about 20 years and who I like alot. We got talking and she said that she has been thinking about politics lately and she is moving from Labour to - Reform. Normally I jump off the bed from pain but today it was total shock! My first question was why someone like her would want to dismantle the NHS? She wasn't aware. What about deporting immigrants who had come here legally (like her) - not aware. What about climate change denial? I listed many of the 'policies' that would go against her values - not aware. We have serious work to do if someone like her would consider Reform. She's agreed that I can email her with evidence, and that she will look at positive stuff about the Green Party. Small steps, but lots of us need to be making them. Now seeing as I’m far younger than you my social reach will be significantly higher than yours, so I’ll be more accurate👍

@JAHeale I know so many people here in Kent who regret ever voting Reform in the county council elections. This poll feels completely out of touch with reality. On the ground, it’s the Lib Dems and Greens who seem to be making the real inroads.
