The fillibuster operates as an unconstitutional transfer of power from the American People to Senators, individually and collectively, and the special interests who own them. With the current cloture rules, a 60 seat majority is required to pass any meaningful legislation. The result is that voters from BOTH parties are disenfranchised. If Republican voters want to make changes they need to win 7 more seats; and Democrat voters need to add 13! Effectively, there is a 20 seat bar that has to be cleared for parties to switch control. The Constitution only requires a simple majority, and even addresses a likely tie (unlikely tie with 60 vote fillibuster) by giving the VP the tie-breaking vote. The Senate has no power to usurp the inalienable rights of the American People to shape their government as they see fit. The fillibuster doesn't defend freedom, it actively works against it.

Removing a four-term RINO is a bigger deal than most people realize. This isn't just 1/100 votes on the Senate floor, although that is already a big deal. The real impact is in the backrooms where all the deals are cut. If you can remove the loudest dissenting voices from the Senate committee chairs, the MAGA agenda suddenly leaps forward.

@laralogan Republicans are controlled opposition. They have been for years. MAGA Republicans must first purge their ranks through the primary process, only then will real change be possible. The administrative and judicial branches suffer from the same malady.

THUNE tells me of Trump’s Paxton endorsement: “It’s his decision.” Thune, like other Republican senators, was stone-faced as he walked into lunch. Thune also threw up his left hand as he said it. (If you know John Thune, that counts as pretty deep anger.)

SENATE REPUBLICANS are giving a standing ovation in their closed lunch to Sen. BILL CASSIDY, the Louisiana Republican who lost his primary over the weekend. Trump endorsed Rep. JULIA LETLOW, the top vote getter who will advance to a runoff with former Rep. JOHN FLEMING.

@EWErickson Trump's agenda has been dead in the Senate because of the undead zombie filibuster. Exorcising these RINO demons can only improve the math.

Between Cassidy and Cornyn, the President's agenda is going to be DOA in the Senate now. Add in Tillis, McConnell, etc. and why would they bother a heavy lift for Trump?

I'm gonna puke if I hear one more thing about needing "independent thinkers" in Congress. That's how we got in this mess. McTurd. We need people who will DO. THE. WILL. OF. THE. VOTERS. who elected Trump with an EC dominant victory & a popular vote victory. That's what we need

Don’t vote for the person. Vote for the policy. Compare my policies on homelessness to theirs: PRATT: -Mandatory drug treatment -Send home addicts who were bussed in from out of state -Enforce the law BASS & RAMAN -Put addicts in overpriced housing and let them do drugs next to your kids’ school -Give methheads free pipes -Make YOU pay for new teeth for said methheads How is this even a race?

Imagine being sent to prison, hit with 3 years probation, losing your family, job and privacy. Labeled a “domestic terrorist” and “insurrectionist” by the entire nation all for a false narrative pushed by liberal politicians and media. That’s my life. My actions were at most a summary offense. I never touched a door knob. Capitol Police let me inside after tear-gassing and flash-banging me outside. This was pure shock-and-awe politics. And now liberals wanna cry about righting the wrong, too bad. Justice is coming.

Something very bizarre is happening. A major sex scandal involving an incumbent Republican congressional candidate has been unfolding for a week, with damning new details surfacing just a day before the election. Yet, the mainstream media has completely ignored it. They’ve shown zero interest in interviewing anyone involved or even asking the candidate about it. Instead, The New York Times, Politico, ABC, and The Atlantic are running puff pieces and softball interviews. When was the last time you saw the left-biased media give a Republican this kind of pass? I never have.

@unseen1_unseen I wonder how much Democrat PAC money would have to be funneled into the betting markets to rig them? Dems rig everything else, so why not the betting markets?

Dems have to win all 11 toss-ups but the idiots in the 'BETTING MARKETS' think that gives the dems a 77% chance to win the house. Not sure they understand this thing called 'odds'. At best it should be an even bet. More reality would place it at a 90% chance of that not happening. I'll leave it at 50/50 just because there are months left before the election and that's several lifetimes in politics.

I never thought I would see the day when a nation would turn one of the most strategically important waterways on Earth into an industrial dumping ground just to keep oil flowing. Even after years of watching Iran threaten the Strait of Hormuz, arm proxy militias, taunt the West, and play brinkmanship with global energy markets, I naively assumed there were still lines no regime would cross. I was wrong. Poisoning the Gulf never even crossed my mind. Now I look at the reports, the satellite imagery, the accusations surrounding Kharg Island, and I find myself staring at something evil. Because assuming the allegation is true, then this is their strategy. And suddenly, in a flash of light, it all makes horrifying sense. If Iran’s storage tanks are approaching maximum capacity, if sanctions and naval pressure are squeezing exports, if tanker movements are disrupted and wells continue pumping, then the regime faces a nightmare scenario: Slow production and risk of damaging long-term output. Cap wells and threaten future extraction capability. Lose revenue. Or DUMP the excess oil into the sea. That possibility sounds monstrous because it is MONSTROUS. But it also fits... open.substack.com/pub/tonyseruga…
