@PAMIS_Scotland Be interested to know why CP toilets are part of MH budget? For my daughter it’s the difference between being able to access the community or not due to lack of suitable toilets #cerebralpalsy

It was recently confirmed that the Scottish Government would “seek to reprofile the commencement of the #ChangingPlaces toilet fund” as part of an £18.8million reduction to the mental health budget for financial years 2024/2025. Read more here:

@nicola1donnelly In Fife there is nothing for my 10y/o daughter with Grade V CP, OOSC in her special school can only accommodate 8 children but I don’t meet criteria as I’m no longer able to work 😔 four week holiday provision which requires me to take her, leaving sib (14) home alone

@thebrainsports Couldn’t agree more!! My non verbal CP child loves some of her staff and they know her so well - takes a full term min for new staff to begin to understand her needs/mannerisms

@inthesedeserts Monday attempts to get GP appointment for 13yo daughter - none left by the time call answered. Antibiotics prescribed without exam 😳

🧵As someone whose job is as a criminal lawyer, until 2 days ago I had never heard of third party reporting centres. So here are a few questions:
1. When were they set up?
2. Why?
3. If anybody can apply to become one, how was that possibility advertised?
4. What diligence/

this quote is really interesting. Does this apply to other crimes? "Discrimination of any kind is deplorable". What do they mean by discrimination? Is "discrimination" really a police matter? how do third parties handle data? What sort of training do they get?
