@RyanOnTheLoose @WmBrackbill Did it stay in mad Max or did it switch to standard profile? Mine typically disables hurry and mad Max when it's raining.

FSD 14 sucks in the rain. You can’t manually dial the speed lower than the speed limit and even in sloth mode the CT often drives faster than conditions warrant. I disengage and drive 35 in a 55 vs FSD plowing ahead at 55. Why can’t we manually set the speed max if we so choose?

@congressdj When I was on 14.2.2.5 it worked then 14.3.3 & 14.3.4 it no longer lowered the turn signal decibel.

OK. I’ve now experienced a new and related problem between Actually Smart Summon (ASS) and FSD twice in the past hour with 14.3.5. 2 out of 4 times, when I entered the car at the end of a summoning, the car would not go into drive. Stepping on brake didn’t work and the gear switcher toggle was not on screen at all. Took 15 seconds of repeated brake presses before it went into drive, and then FSD becomes unavailable for the remainder of the drive (also disappeared from screen, and scroll wheel FSD activation also not working). From this point, both times, I had to park and take off (and put back on) my seatbelt before I could re-initiate an FSD drive. @Tesla_AI @ArekSredzki

@map1986 @congressdj That would be very annoying if thats happening daily. I forgot about it as I haven’t been on that part of the 5 south in a bit but in Santa Ana the carpool has two lanes and it started getting into the carpool lane 🤦🏻‍♂️

@RyanOnTheLoose @congressdj On CA91E, merges to right lane to exit. Manually engage left turn and accelerate. Changes lane then signals to go back to the exit lane.

@DevinOlsenn 14.3.3 and up it no longer lowered the turn signal click decibel. I was on 14.2.2.5 was working then got 14.3.3 and then 14.3.4. Same with my partners Y

Okay to give a quick update on this. On the highway going 100kmh the nag feels similar to 14.3.4 - I am getting the “pay attention to the road” warning if I look away too long. This morning I was going 60-80kmh and I felt like there was nothing I could do to get that same “pay attention” warning. With all that said - changed or unchanged I think the nag is incredibly forgiving for being a SUPERVISED piece of software.

Thanks to being able to watch my FSD cameras live, I've found I have this weird glare spot in my front main camera sometimes (depends on sun position). I wonder if a cleaning will fix this.

Dear @Tesla_AI, I am on I-95 South near Washington DC. I just disengaged my Tesla because I thought it was confusing the shoulder for a lane. I logged the disengagement as critical. As you can see in the video below, it turns out that once again, I’ve mistakenly assumed my meat brain knows better than your AI model. I wanted to let you know that this disengagement can be removed from the statistics, as it once again turns out that I am the fool. Sorry about that. Thank you for reading.

Were you by any chance changing anything on the destination or route? I’ve had a few similar critical disengagements and the destinations was updating in the middle of the incident. Scared the crap out of me as I’m looking at the screen and look up and about to crash. Second time I was changing the destination and my partner was behind the wheel and it couldn’t decide to get out of the roundabout or stay on so it went straight towards the curb with a pole. I’m hoping enough people have experienced the same issue so we can collectively report it to Tesla AI team

CRITICAL FSD disengagement at highway speed. Details: ~ car was extremely indecisive taking the exit ~ You can see right before I disengaged, the steering wheel was turning slightly left toward the barrier ~ also waited until the very last minute, cutting across 4 lanes to make the exit in under 10 seconds ~ I believe it was going to drive into the barrier ~ Mad Max mode ~ The car behind me was cut also about to collide due to this indecisiveness ~ FSD v14.3.4 on 2026.14.6.12 ~ Completely sunny day, sun was above not in frony (no glare) ~ All cameras were clean ~ Houston I am a very grateful and avid FSD user, but never in my 3 years of usage have I experienced such a critical disengagement. I made sure to mark it as critical in the menu. Also, the video clip doesn't really justify how much I had to swerve and avoid that barrier, also having to accelerate hard since the car behind me didn't expect that. Please repost and share so @Tesla_AI can see this and fix it 🙏 @elonmusk

@DougSmart What kind of range hit did you have? I know it’s not the same but I’m looking at putting a spare tire on the roof rack

Used the Model Y to carry 4 mountain bikes (mine and the grandkids). It drove us, 2 hours away. Then we did shuttles up the hill. Then I slept in it overnight, on Camp Mode. More shuttles the next day. Then it drove us 2 hours back home. Best car in the world.

I’m not trying to argue; I’m asking a real question. I’m always up for changing my mind, when people say they need something I get curious. My best friend mentioned he needs CarPlay in his Y, and when I asked why, he couldn’t give me a single reason. Calling someone who’s asking questions an argument doesn’t help and just shuts down the conversation. The whole point of X is to have open conversations, and it’s sad that you should take questions that way. That’s something I expect out of Zack.

You can sit and argue all the reasons why you think CarPlay sucks. The reality is basically every person driving a new car that isn’t a Tesla or Rivian will use Apple CarPlay or Android auto. You can lecture them and tell them all the reasons that they’re stupid for wanting to continue to use CarPlay… OR if Tesla is able to start offering CarPlay then those folks who otherwise wouldn’t consider a Tesla may now decide to switch. Once they’re in the Tesla and using it perhaps in time they’ll learn the Tesla software is better than CarPlay… but even if they choose to use CarPlay indefinitely - so what?

Fingers crossed FSD V14.4 comes out soon - it’s been a while! What’s everyone thinking for the next version? Will we be getting the parking preferences upgrade that Elon promised a few weeks ago?

@lowcountryev @DevinOlsenn What does CarPlay offer that people NEED it for? I use CarPlay all the time in work cars. What am I missing that’s a need?

I'm glad it is for you...and as stated, you simply do not need to use it (just like I deleted or don't use half the apps on Tesla today). Some people NEED CarPlay integration to work. There are always workarounds via bluethooth, but there are a dozen native apps within CarPlay that I used on a consistent basis to be more productive...seriously missed while I'm driving my MYP.
