@iammarcthomas An affiliate site! Took me 2 years, but if you bought a site it could go faster. marketingarsenal.io started Jan 2021. Made $130 in the whole of year 1, and almost exactly $20k revenue this year 😄

@rochi_zalani I worked a (paid) trial week for @togglplan's hiring process. It was part time, around my existing job. I highly recommend paid trial tasks as part of hiring. That said, I did the work during evenings. A few years later, now with kids, I'd find it a lot harder to find the time.

Saw a "trial week" offered in a company — an employee works with you for one week (paid) to see if you're a good fit for each other. Takes betting on resumes & interviews out of the picture. What do we think? (Was also mentioned in a recent edition of @stackedmarketer)

I'm tired of hearing about LTV:CAC being a useful metric for SaaS/subscription I think it should be EXTINGUISHED from our vocabulary. Why? 1. LTV is a shoddy way to measure value capture 2. You need piles of VC $$$ 3. There's a superior metric you should use instead ↓

@_dshott @PiersTincknell @DavidDarnes @_tashhockey Recurring tasks are new! They are imperfect still, but it was better to get them out and functional rather than wait for perfection 😉. Improvements will be on the way sometime early next year hopefully 🙌

What scheduling tools are y'all using? The one built into Basecamp can't quite do repeat events and neither can Notion. Currently looking at Forecast from Harvest but open to other options. Thanks!
