I am in receipt of a disturbing viral video that brought me to tears. Earlier today a group of students jumped on a sickly mother with sickle cell and her two children on the southside of Chicago.
These kids attend Bright Elementary school and we must have a response to this reckless behavior. I will be reaching out to this family to see what help we can provide. These kids must be held accountable!! We are living in different times. #Hurt

SNAP recipient: It's a scary feeling. I know a lot of other mothers that are in the same position that I'm in are panicking. It feels like there's nothing we can do so. I'll just be saving money, and there are a couple of food banks around where we live
