Don’t be fooled by this latest Liberal re-announcement. Repackaging the same $51 billion infrastructure plan isn’t progress, it’s a gimmick designed to make Canadians believe projects are being built, when in reality, many are still stuck in the ground. The real barriers haven’t changed: Layers of red tape, lengthy approvals, and costly regulations that delay construction and drive up prices.
