This includes non stop verbal abuse by a woman who repeatedly refused to stop. That is total abandonment. God doesn’t intend for us to live in misery. I love reading the arm chair quarterback political military leaders who have all the solutions on their back pockets yet they go no further than their parents basement and continue to throw tantrums or insults because they realize they have no real solutions or else they would be in charge.

We have been through something similar with an unlicensed contractor. We did not know that before as we asked him if we needed permits or anything before having a fence installed. We were brand new home owners we didn’t know. He was recommended to us through someone in the community. We paid him half 1600 of the total cost of the fence. Found out as the HOA came out that he never got permits never got permission never was licensed by the city or county to hammer the first nail. So he came and took everything out huge fence posts with 100lbs of concrete on them and threw them in our front yard. We sued him. We won. But we learned lesson number two. You sue the person not the company. He folded the company and got to walk free. 20 years ago but a lesson I never forgot. Never pay a dime until it’s all done AND demand copies of every paper you think you need.

Near as I can tell this contractor did a lot of work for a Karen including building stairs, and a landing off her deck . She is refusing to pay halfway through the job saying he’s not licensed . So the contractor starts to pull down all the work he did.. He never clarifies if he’s licensed or not . Who is in the right here ?

We bonded over bands like KoRn, and I still laugh thinking about sneaking him to his first KoRn concert when he was only 13 years old by having him stay at my apartment so we could go together. Even as we got older, we never drifted apart. On December 21, 2010, Billy and his dog Cane were both killed in Afghanistan when an IED exploded during his first deployment. He had only been there six weeks. He was 22 years old. People talk about sacrifice, but what they don’t always see is what comes after. The empty seat at Christmas because he was taken from us just four days before. The ache during Memorial Day weekend, the 4th of July, Veterans Day, birthdays, family gatherings, and random ordinary days when something reminds you of them out of nowhere. I carry him with me everywhere. I even have him tattooed across my back in his uniform because no amount of time changes the fact that he’s my little brother and I miss him constantly. Please remember men like Billy are more than names on a memorial or a folded flag. They were sons, brothers, friends, teammates, husbands, fathers, and real human beings deeply loved by the families who have to somehow keep going without them for the rest of our lives. Gone too soon. Forever loved. Semper Fi. 🇺🇸

Did you miss the part where I said "before NASCAR gutted itself?" From 2005 to 2015 the Coca-Cola 600 drew more viewers than the Indy 500. When NASCAR went to the Brickyard it sold as many seats as the 500. In 2008 and 2009 the Brickyard 400 also drew more TV viewers than the Indy 500. Bot disputing what you say now, as you cannot dispute my actual point - that NASCAR has fumbled the ball mightily and given away a superior position on Memorial Day weekend and overall.

I have not always felt this way… But I will concede that as of today the biggest race of the weekend is the Indy 500 and it’s not even close.

Gold star family here . I have been red white and blue for a few weeks. The week of the race adds a garden flag of the Indy 500, then the day of the race is checkered flags all around. Now it’s back to red white and blue until July 5th. My one American flag flys until we start decorating for fall into Christmas. I love patriot season though. Should be more often.

I don’t mess around. #Indy500 is over. It was great. Good food and good company. Once it ended, the race flags came down and the red, white, and blue went up. Tomorrow is #MemorialDay. Give thanks to those that gave all for our country. 🫡🇺🇸
