@ghost_motley Wouldn't want to deal with Samsung firmware personally. The MSI 321URX was £520 on Amazon a few months ago so that was an instant snag for me.

I was gonna wait until DisplayPort 2.1, but you really can't beat this price. 15% off due to a birthday month code, plus £50 further if you pay with PayPal. 32" Samsung G81SF 4K 240Hz OLED monitor for under £600.

@notoymil @dxgl_org @videolan Here's a clip I just recorded showcasing the behaviour. You can see the app window changes when you go past 150%, but for 100%, 125%, and 150% it is the same. This was a clean install from not long ago and in years of using VLC it has always had this broken scaling behaviour...

@Rytoxz @dxgl_org @videolan I would expect win11 to do better than win10 on scaling, or at least on par. maybe your windows installation is slightly cooked? it's not too surprising given microsoft's track record :)

@notoymil @dxgl_org @videolan I have my OS scaling set to 150%. It seems to use a range: 100% - 150% is what you see in my screenshot, then 175% - 200% scales correctly.

@dxgl_org @Rytoxz @videolan then that's even weirder, VLC has always been scaling properly on windows, following the windows display scale setting. I suspect OP is expecting vlc to scale itself while the OS scale setting is either not enabled or too small.

This is the shot you can’t get from the press site. This camera was sitting a few football fields from the SLS rocket at Pad 39B for days before launch, baking in the Florida sun, surviving rain, humidity, and whatever else the Cape threw at it. No photographer behind the viewfinder. Just a camera, a sound trigger, and a bet. The way pad remotes work: you set your camera up days in advance, dial in your composition, lock everything down, and walk away. You don’t touch it again until after the launch. The shutter fires on sound activation with a @MiopsTrigger smart+ trigger. With SLS, the four RS-25 engines ignite six seconds before the solid rocket boosters, so the camera is already firing before the vehicle even leaves the pad. You get home, pull the card, and find out if you nailed it or if a bird landed on your lens two days ago and left your a present and you got 400 photos of soemthing crappy. There’s no formula for protecting your gear this close. Some photographers build wooden boxes with doors that pop open. Some use plastic bags and tape. Some do plastic or metal barn door rigs on hinges. I tend to leave mine open just in plastic rain covers because boxes limit my composition and setup time, but that means your cameras are more exposed to the elements and whatever energy and debris comes off the pad. You’re basically gambling a camera body every time you set one. That’s what I love about this genre. There’s no playbook. You make it up as you go. Every time is an adventure. 📸 credit: me for @SuperclusterHQ - Artemis II pad remote | ~1,000 ft from Pad 39B | Kennedy Space Center

@joshwoodward @backlon @GeminiApp This is good, but please add an option to disable the voice response. Just because I speak my query doesn’t mean I want Gemini to read aloud the answer!

✅ Papercut fixed: Gemini won’t cut you off if you pause while talking on Android anymore. (iOS in a few weeks!) So next time you hit the mic icon, feel free to pause, take a breath, or ramble. No more anxiety to speak it all out before @GeminiApp jumps in prematurely.

@blueberriesGG This is one of many reasons why not releasing on Steam is harmful to your product. Posts like this will go viral all because of idiotic exclusivity on other launchers for years...

@GriffinWB PC38X. The best open-back headphones if you need a mic attached. If not, any high-end Sennheiser models are good.

@tomwarren Surprised you're still with Octopus, Tom. I moved to Fuse back in August and they have much lower standing charges and nice low fixed charges. Agile would stress me out too much 😅
