JIPMER medicine department doesn’t have the exact duty hour junior resident physically present in the OPD / ward. In absence of such a crucial record we have enough ground to suspect or believe toxic hub JIPMER has gruelling illegal duty hours that stretches from 24 hours – 36 hours and a no week off culture in the first 6 months when the PG ragging used to be at its peak. By the way, how is my son / daughter safe in a place where no record is maintained to mark physical presence? How can I know where my child is (inside hospital or outside)? Who is responsible for our children’s safety? How reckless is the management?? Dear parents, please be cautious with these so-called reputed medical colleges. Please get to know about the actual hours your son / daughter is physically present in the ward. They won’t care at all. They are expert in squeezing our children 36 hours till suicide or quitting in the name of training. But we can’t allow it.

@praffulgarg97 kindly look into matter , I have tagged you multiple times on X and in insta.. resident doctors need your help , 120 hrs per week duty is exploitation..48 hrs continuous without sleep..1992 rules say not more than 12hrs , 48hrs per week..@SonuSood
