It's too bad the @UHN has given up on enforcing masking, I didn't feel safe walking the halls of Toronto General this morning. I get that as a terminal cancer patient I don't really matter to anyone but the researchers, but I'd still prefer to not get covid, or any cold or flu!!

What about, um 🤔, not giving opioids after lap chole in the first place? Patients do extremely well with nsaid and paracetamol + very short course (couple days) tramadol as necessary.

1/7 Did you know that red blood cells are only found in vertebrates and that they are nucleated in all classes (fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds) except mammals? It is safe to say that the loss of the erythrocyte nucleus in the ancestral mammal provided a survival advantage.
