Dear Local Government Chairmen and Councilors across Nigeria…….when will community building stop being an afterthought? I saw a park in my community here in the Uk 🇬🇧 , and I don’t think you need much to recreate something similar. The whole play ground is less than two plots of land, safe playgrounds, sports areas all from council tax. Why is ‘no community’ normal here? Our kids deserve more than just school. As @sam_adeyemi said, to change Nigeria, we need those who’ve seen better. I do t want to believe that you all think that community building is all about sharing rice …

Dear new immigrants couples in the UK, especially those that came in on study visa, do whatever you can not to give birth until you have a solid and stable visa. Struggling for skills worker visa (work visa) after school when you have a baby will fuck you up mentally. Do family planning if you need to, practice safe sex if you need to. JUST DO NOT GIVE BIRTH IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SOLID AND STABLE VISA, except you don’t mind going back to your home country.

Okay, let’s address this… So I deleted the posts about PO pre 2019 because I didn’t know who he truly was at the time. Before that time… I didn’t know how he saved Anambra a whole lot of money. I’d not heard of how he raised Anambra’s education from the least to Number 1. I didn’t know Bill Gates awarded him the Best Governor for his massive contribution to health sector in Anambra. I didn’t know he made Anambra the safest state in Nigeria. I’d not heard of how there is no corruption cases against him even after serving for 8 years. I wasn’t aware that the reason he was impeached was because he didn’t allow the State Assembly loot Anambra treasury. I’d not known a lot of the great things he did as a governor how passionate he is about Nigeria. My first encounter with him was being a VP candidate and I misjudged him. Hence, I regret and take back all I said about PO. If you tag me to any negative post of PO now and in the future, I will delete it and block you. My elder sister got her her iPhone 17 and she sent an iPhone 16 Pro Max from Canada to the UK for my dad last December, so he could upgrade from the iPhone 14 I bought for him two years ago. Two weeks after it was delivered, my dad opened the package and it was empty only the box and an AirPod were inside. The iPhone had been stolen. We investigated, and it turned out it was stolen at the sender’s depot. Even more shocking, the investigation revealed it was actually done by a staff member. Some people will travel abroad and still continue stealing. Somehow Can you guess the nationality that stole it?

We are deeply saddened to share the tragic passing of Uchenna Okirie, who was brutally stabbed to death in a student apartment in Norwich in November 2025. Uchenna came to the UK to pursue his Master’s degree and had a bright future ahead of him. Following investigations, Benjamin Katabana, 27, a Congolese national, was subsequently charged with murder. After speaking with Uchenna’s family, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Norwich Community has made the decision to repatriate Uchenna’s body to Nigeria so his family can lay him to rest with dignity. Uchenna had no immediate family in the UK. We are therefore appealing to everyone to please come together and support this cause by donating towards the cost of returning his body home.
