Now that cheating has reached Tier 3 and 2, suddenly people are calling for action. But this didn’t start with pros or semi-pros. It started in Premier. In FACEIT. With grinders, casuals, anyone trying to play competitively or just fairly. And yes, matchfixing scandals are awful too but no, the solution isn’t for Tier 2 orgs to build a private bubble and pretend the rest doesn’t exist. This is Valve’s problem. This is your problem, @CounterStrike. You built the VRS system, you pushed this competitive structure. So where’s the anti-cheat team? Where’s the oversight? Where’s the accountability? Tier 2/3 players aren’t in a unique crisis, they’re just finally living what the rest of us have dealt with for years. Thanks to Valve cheating has never been cheaper, easier, or more rewarding. The risk is laughable, the potential gain is massive, and the system punishes no one. Why wouldn’t people cheat? They’ve created an ecosystem where it’s not just doable, it’s profitable. The answer isn’t isolation. It’s a platform-wide solution. For everyone. From Tier 1 pros to Tier 3 orgs to the casuals grinding Premier. There is no dedicated anti-cheat team at Valve. No system catching cheaters at scale. No group working daily on enforcement or even acknowledging the issue. We’re years into this, and the response has been silence. So yes, I agree with @snatchiecsgo. I agree with @renyan. It’s time to act. But let’s not pretend Tier 2 players are now in some special crisis. They’re just finally experiencing the same broken system the rest of us live in daily.

I'm not sure I agree. The girl speaks and says 'and you're screaming bro'. You then reply '500 matches and can't do anything, go back to the kitchen and make me sandwich, fucking...' and then something inaudible. The only person on your team with 500 matches, is the female player. It sounds like you were addressing the female player.

Well, not a great start to 2025. Just received a 1-year ban from @FACEIT, for a very weird reason. On our team there was a woman I muted when she started complaining about how I play. A discussion started between me and a male player, where I then told him to go back to a kitchen and make a sandwich. This woman in our team then took a clip via her Twitch stream, and issued a ticket report on me claiming I said that to her. It’s clear in the clip that the discussion was ongoing between me and a male player, and not her. I have sent a ticket to FACEIT support, providing evidence of audio and video material during this comment, but the admin still rejects my claims. I tried so many times to prove them wrong, and to make them see that this is a misunderstanding but no, still the same answer as like it is automated to answer all questions with same answer. I reached out to a e-sports lawyer in Norway and told him the exact same thing, where he then completely agreed with me. It really does hurt, to see that they don’t even care. I use FACEIT for daily gaming as a hobby after work, and now to sit here without any possibility to play is sad. I have also received multiply bans for verbal and unsportsmanlike conduct via their FBI system that is fully based on player’s feedback. I still can’t understand that they allow this system to issue bans without even been surely clear that a player have violated the rules. I play sometimes bad, or have a bad day which it then leads to players on my team reporting me with the thumbs down/up on match room. I have also complained to this, provided demo evidence from the match just to receive a respond that they don’t remove these types of bans from FBI system by any circumstances. Also, they are claiming that playing on Premium Super match you will get veteran matchmaking, claiming that you will be matched with players your level. This is untrue, I also made an ticket regarding that too where their admin even confirmed that they are working on it and that this is an common issue on FACEIT. Yet, I have never made any reports or asked for refund as they didn’t deliver the product as promised. Dear @FACEIT_Darwin and @FACEIT, please consider looking into my case. Much love, lozy ❤️
