Current feelings on melee: i think i couldnt quite put my finger on what or when exactly i started feeling like melee wasn't the same game i fell in love with anymore but i'm ngl i think the optimisation of ASDI down and dbooc has genuinely made the game kinda cringe now LOL

@Fit_For_Golf Would it be possible to add an 'all time' feature to the progress tab? When I go between programs I often can't find my old benchmarks as you need to sort on a month by month basis, rather than being able to quickly check for all time benchmarks.

Training Tip 🏋🏻‍♂️ Record your sets, reps, & weights. Ensure you are nudging them up over time. Many people do the same sets, reps, for years on end and wonder why their bodies and strength don’t change. The Fit For Golf App makes keeping record & tracking progress easy 🙂.

@Fit_For_Golf Going on a similar journey and the 'choke on 18' part is like looking in a mirror. I was -3 thru 16 (never broken 70) recently, bogeyed 17 and made a 12 on 18 (lost ball in bounds with my second, then it all unravelled). Hopefully I get to the next part too, currently stuck 2-4hc

@practicalgolf District champs I had a guy get in the face of a playing partner issuing threats / almost coming to blows over a completely imagined slight that never happened. He later accused us of stealing his iron cover and made me mark so he could 5 putt backhanded/lefty from 70 feet. Fun.

I had a somewhat unusual situation at a tournament the other week that I discussed on our podcast this week. My playing partner "silently" ejected and started chipping on the greens, dropped his golf bag at the turn, and only carried five clubs. Was hitting driver off the deck off bunker lips, just absolutely wild stuff. What would you have done?

@KPKaiza 2013 BAM was a split but mostly Falco, idk about 2012 BAM but it was likely bird. I think I won a Shadowloo with all Fox but swapped to Falco for GF reset. MW1 Falco whenever that was. Switched to Fox full time 2014 after Evo.

bro the last times a Falco player won a major in Aus was Karu @ DI Another Day 1 in 2015 (w/ no interstate melee players) and Redact @ ACL 2012 god damn (idk about if S.D.'s major wins between those were Falco matches I'd have to ask him) fucked up

Could they shoot net under par? The highest index you can have is 54. If a 54 index played Kiawah Ocean course from the tips, they would get 81 strokes! Net par for them would be 153! Could they shoot net under par? (152 or better)

@RickShielsPGA Course ratings / Slope would give some added context to the difficulty of the tracks you're playing off the back, people probably don't realise a lot of those 75ish scores are + differential.

Just doing some interesting analysis on my rounds of golf in 2024 I have played 16 rounds of strokeplay golf (Break 75 episodes) this year and this is what I found out ⬇️ ➡️My score average is 76 (avg par of the courses 71.61) ➡️ I'm on average 4.38 over par ➡️ I make on average 2.5 birdies per round ➡️ I almost always make a double per round ➡️ I broke 75 - 7/18 attempts ➡️ I have shot 80 or higher 3 times I may look into more analysis over the next few weeks. *Just a note, often I'm playing off the very back tees and it's my first time ever playing the golf course.
