Over the weekend, we hosted Germany, the world's third-largest economy at Ontario's Small Modular Reactor construction site. The Minister of Economic Affairs & Energy, Katherina Reiche, got to see firsthand how Ontario is building and exporting #MadeInCanada nuclear on-time and on-budget. Thanks @davidsmithmpp, @lornecoe, and @opg for profiling Ontario’s leadership on the world stage.

Great to attend #ENERCOM26 today, including an inspiring keynote from Minister @Sflecce. His clear message: Ontario is cutting red tape to get projects built bigger, better, faster, and more affordably. And we’ll continue working with @EDA_ONT and utilities to attract investment.

The Hon. @Sflecce, Minister of Energy and Mines joined us for a keynote luncheon speech at #ENERCOM26. He spoke about Canada’s competitive advantage: the ability to bring money into the province by removing red tape. We can operate bigger, better, faster, and cheaper. Minister Lecce spoke briefly of PULSE, saying, “Leaders on the PULSE panel have brought a robust action plan to me. My commitment is to partner with the EDA and utilities to figure out how to build out an action plan to reimagine how we will attract investment. We have to get this right.”

Expanding Billy Bishop Airport will bring new routes, cheaper flights and more convenient travel to millions of Ontario families, while creating thousands of jobs in our tourism, aviation and construction sectors. In the face of President Trump’s tariffs, we need to do everything we can to unlock Ontario’s full economic potential, including by upgrading vital transportation infrastructure like airports and seaports. Beautiful night celebrating the best of King at the 2026 Mayor’s Cultural Gala. It was fitting to honour some of King’s most decorated athletes, business people, and artists who have enriched our local history and country.

When any individual is targeted because of who they are, who they love, or which God they worship — it must be confronted with unrelenting force. Jews are 25x more likely to experience hate crimes. It's not just the stats, it's the stories that stick with you. When did we become a nation that normalized a girl’s elementary school requiring a security fortress to keep the kids safe? I can tell you, my church does not require 24/7 guards outside the entrance. I fully stand behind Mayor @StevenDelDuca’s call for the Prime Minister to come to Vaughan, listen to these dehumanizing experiences, and finally act to confront antisemitism with the resolve it deserves.
