Sending peaceful protestors to prison for highlighting existential dangers of climate collapse is dangerous & disproportionate. The right to peaceful protest won many of the liberties we enjoy today - criminalising it simply proves authorities are afraid of it because it works

Is conspiring to stop the traffic, in the cause of raising alarm about climate change, deserving of custodial sentences of five and four years - when so many crimes of violence and thefts go unprosecuted and our prisons have run out of capacity?
