CONFIRMED: The main reason why the talks collapsed was an under the table proposal by the US for Iran to officially recognize the state of Israel. The Iranian negotiators walked out of the table and refused to tolerate such a discussion. This was an embarrassment to the US team.

I was honoured to join the Iranian-Canadian community and allies in Ottawa today. Here's a short clip of my speech at today's Global Day of Action - Iran Rally in Ottawa, Canada. This international day of action was requested at the call of HRH Reza Pahlavi, the Leader of Iran's Lion and Sun Revolution and the Crown Prince of Iran.
Our message to President Trump on behalf of 90 million Iranians in Occupied Iran whose voices have been silenced by the Islamic Regime:

The regime in Iran specifically wanted JD Vance to meet them because they believed they could manipulate him.
They saw him as Tucker Carlson aligned and more likely to be sympathetic to their cause. Someone who in the name of "No war ever" would accept any insane demand they thew at him.
That's what they tried. And it failed.
It turns out, JD Vance is not John Kerry, this is not 2015, and these are not the JCPOA talks. Very uplifting start to the day.
I truly believe having Marco Rubio in the Trump admin has taught many valuable things to not just Trump but now also Vance.

In his Aug. 6, 2015, Senate remarks, he explicitly opposed it for concrete reasons: it would let Iran become a nuclear threshold state after 10-15 years with international approval, fail to curb its ballistic missiles or support for terrorism, and not guarantee permanent non-proliferation. The thing nobody is talking about is that we finally have positive confirmation from the mullahs themselves that they intend to acquire nuclear weapons.
