I observe a lot of contamination of Kannada, be it in hoardings, ads or news channels. Saw an ad today containing words "ನೆಕ್ಸ್ಟ್ ಲೆವೆಲ್" and "ಸಮ್ಮರ್". IFYKYK. Kannadigas need to use our language uncontaminated and with pride.

@SHKonnect True. "ನೆಕ್ಸ್ಟ್ ಲೆವೆಲ್" and "ಸಮ್ಮರ್" on Kannada ads is not modern. Kannada has its own rich words: ಮುಂದಿನ ಹಂತ, ಬೇಸಿಗೆ. Borrow when needed, but don't replace what we already have.

@TeaChaiLa It is still "nimishagalu". Usage such as "ನಾನು ಆರು ನಿಮಿಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಡುತ್ತೇನೆ".
A question to Kannadigas.
Plural of dina becomes dinagalu
Plural of vara becomes varagalu
Plural of tingalu becomes tingalugalu
But plural of nimisha doesn’t become nimishagalu. It is eradu nimisha, mooru nimisha. Why is that?

The biggest challenge on X is short-lived reach, even with premium. Worse, even no reach. Not all content are meant to be viral. For creators investing time and efforts in creating original content, it is disheartening to see their posts vanishing with no reach.

Why are creators expected to make original content on X when most posts die within 24–48 hours? Someone spends hours creating content… and it gets 300 views or maybe 1K. Meanwhile on YouTube, videos uploaded 10–12 years ago are still getting recommended in 2026 Not everyone on X is a journalist chasing breaking news every day. If the algorithm only favors news-style content, regular creators will eventually stop posting If X truly wants more original content, then original creators should be rewarded with long-term reach and stronger visibility. When creators see posts hitting 100K–200K views consistently, more people will start investing real effort into the platform

@Pghsld @AvisharDutta @SHKonnect Pink line will open in parts. Most probably Gottigere tavarkere by Aug 15 2026. The remainder is the underground and unknown with random dates thrown at us.

Complete opening of Pink Line (Gottigere-Nagavara) and partial opening of Blue Line (Silk Board-KR Pura) by Dec 2026 would be a big respite!

At one point we realize the skill-upskill circus is short-lived. Whatever learnt is soon outdated and we remain catching up for survival. Having significant control over land, natural resources, people and businesses is long-surviving.

This constant requirement to upskill and stay relevant is one of the biggest pressure in IT and it's been normalized so much that if you don't spend extra hours beyond office hours for this upskilling it's considered odd. Zero time for other stuff.
