@SLious57229 @JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema Well some of my personal favorite animated shows are Amphibia, Gravity Falls, Spectacular Spider-Man, Owl House, Steven Universe, Avatar The Last Airbender, and Over The Garden Wall.

These freaks have no effect on box office, their followers just pirate movies and don’t go to theatres. Studios attempts to appease them only make them and movies worse.

@starlordjack @JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema I knew I forgot about Avatar, I'm slacking off, my bad. Steven Universe, I watched a few episodes. Spectacular Spider-Man is a good one. I liked Regular Show, it presented themes that are very relatable to everyday life and even heavier subjects.

@SLious57229 @JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema Loved K Pop Demon Hunters. I highly recommend Amphibia. To me it's one of the best animated shows ever made. And yes as usual Troy Baker is great in it.

@starlordjack @JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema Miley Alcock's Supergirl did have moments of vulnerability but was saved by plot armor and yes, her Supergirl's personality wasn't as good as the one in My Adventures with Superman. I feel like it was a missed opportunity.

@SLious57229 @JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema I think it was to contrast her against the hopeful Superman. Wasn't executed that well in the film though. MAWS Kara is my favorite adaptation of the character.

@SLious57229 @JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema We still get great female characters in non anime projects. One of my favorite shows of the last few years is Amphibia. You have 3 female leads (Anne, Sasha, and Marcy) and they're great and flawed characters. Just one example.

@dig6394 @Duhlorean98 That's fine but I did read actual post from others who actually put a x/10 score in their post. That signals that they watched it and expressed their opinions on what was good and what was bad. Many noted Odysseus as bland with one noting the comparisons between Nolan and Homer.

The Critical Drinker subreddit is having a meltdown over THE ODYSSEY having an 8.4 on IMDb. If Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb are invalid, what’s next? Letterboxd? 😭😭😭

@SLious57229 @Duhlorean98 That is not suspicious at all actually. You'll find people doing that for basically any movie on the planet. There is almost always some people that really love the movie, and there are people who are uncritical and just focus on the positives

@JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema So Supergirl bombed for a combination of reasons such as; Miley Alcock's responses to questions and attacking critics, superhero fatigue, and girlboss even though there were many instances where she was vulnerable but plot armor saved her.

@JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema Captain Marvel was just overpowered and wasn't really likeable to audiences. The first movie did manage a 71% but the sequel flopped hard.

@SLious57229 @d12dan12 @blandCinema Rey actually had some struggles but they were about her identity and classic temptation of the dark side, and Captain Marvel and She-Hulk stories weren't about learning anything.

@JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema Rey managed to pilot the Millennium Falcon without any experience piloting it, she somehow bested Kylo Ren without ever fighting a sith before. Hulk was teaching She-Hulk and she somehow breezed through all the lessons, I watched the show, I regret watching it.

@JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema If your implying Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga then I'm happy to say that Furiosa is NOT a girlboss. I watched the movie myself and Furiosa played by Anya Taylor-Joy was awesome. She was labeled as a girlboss but that actually wasn't accurate. This actually fits what you mentioned.

@SLious57229 @d12dan12 @blandCinema Well like I said people like Nerdrotic call female characters for having these exact traits that I listed, even before they actually see the movie to Judge her properly cause they don't care about women being well written, they just want to complain.

@JanowskiKsawery @d12dan12 @blandCinema Rey from the Star Wars sequel trilogy, She-Hulk, and Captain Marvel are perfect examples of what a girlboss is. They learn everything without any struggle whatsoever. That's not realistic nor is it relatable. KPop Demon Hunters is a perfect example of great female characters.

@heroesahead Your definitely talking about Avengers: Doomsday. They're just catering to fan service but is Doom a "one-off"? What about Avengers: Secret Wars?

Marvel has a Star Wars problem The story of Star Wars is the Rise, Fall and Redemption of Anakin Skywalker And Disney keeps trying to see if they can tell a better story than that. Marvel has introduced all their best characters, told us their individual stories, we've gone on their journeys into the underworld, to their lowest lows and their highest highs with them And we saw them overcome at terrible cost their personal flaws and join together to face the worst threat and by the skin of their teeth barely defeat a worthy foe and pay the highest price for that What's the play here? Pretend you can tell a better story than that? Just do it again, hope you can rinse and repeat?

@dig6394 @Duhlorean98 Someone saying that The Odyssey is a masterpiece without mentioning at least one or two things that bring The Odyssey down is very suspicious to me.

@morgopolo @blandCinema I was looking at honest reviews from people on X who gave it a 4/10 or 5/10 or 6/10 or 7/10. IGN gave it an 8/10, which was pretty generous. I focused on people who didn't mention Lupita or Page cause I knew there was a 50/50 chance that was their problem with the movie.
