I feel like @MarathonTheGame would do so well to have a “Sherpa” style system like Tarkov did but have it in game.
After I reach level 30 let me queue into a mode that checks I have a working mic and can carry some newbies (using a paid sponsor kit or 4k loadout value max) and show them the ropes.
That would do so much to help with the onboarding of new players.

Getting back into full time content creation so unpacked the DSLR camera again.
Its just not comparable to webcams, larger sensor and better glass will always triumph over resolution.
This output is 1080p50fps from a 10 year old camera - no "4k60fps" webcam compressed on MJPEG will come close to looking this good

Marathon is so good in solos. Still wish I had a regular team for trios to do Cryo/ranked etc - but the immersion and tension in solos is unmatched - absolutely loving it

@SilkOCE I moved over to a low profile one that goes behind the monitor. Works well. Elgato ones are premium but good quality, cheap finefine ones work great as well as long as you tighten the hex bolts.

Ranked is sick in @MarathonTheGame - such a good way to come up loot value wise and an awesome system for ranked in Extraction mode.
Love the art style and combat of this game.
Seriously if you are a real sweaty competitive gamer, give it a go and stick with it. So much enjoyment to be had.

Marathon is a good old fashioned “Gamers” game.
Dont expect hand holding, expect to fail, expect to learn by losing.
If you push through the initial struggle the rewards for actually learning to play a difficult game are incredible from a PvP shooter perspective.
Tense strategic gun battles, deadly and challenging AI/Enviroment.
And I haven’t even reached cyro archives yet….

Alright everyone we're going a bit rogue here. We have a bit of an experimental feature that's in development we want to test and we'd love for you to help. As of Wednesday morning 3/18 at 10am PT, we'll be enabling a limited time duos queue on Perimeter only to test how the game plays with crews of 2 at a wider scale. Important things to note: -- It will be on Perimeter only for now. -- The test will last about 2 weeks (but we might cut it off early or elongate it depending on what's going on). -- You can only enter duos with a premade group of you and another friend. (no matchmaking solo into duos). -- You will be matched with other duos only. -- You can select "Perimeter - Duo" from the zone select screen to access it. (not the final intended ux flow right now) -- Some things will be a bit jank. Just a note: this is a bit of an experimental feature so we expect to learn some things along the way and make changes to future versions of this. This likely won't be the final implementation of how it would look and flow in the game, but for now it was easiest way for us to get it to you all to help us test. We're excited to run this experiment with you all. Pending what we learn, we're hoping to expand duos as a queue in the future and we wanted to take this first step sooner than later so we could understand how it affects our game better before investing a lot more time in fleshing out the feature. Additionally, this is unlikely to be the last experiment we run, so look forward to more as we continue to evolve Marathon. FOR SCIENCE!

There was a compatibility issue with the latest version of OBS and older version of stream deck I had installed. When I downloaded the last non win11 stream deck software it did fix it.
Will have to go buy a new PC to upgrade to 11 now as old stream PC doesn’t support TPM 2.0
No hard feelings, it was due an upgrade and I do understand it from a business perspective.

windows 10 is considered "must-support" for the game industry on account of its prevalence and while their target market is a subset of ours, i'd be amazed if their telemetry shows W10 use so low as to be an acceptable loss
