This is what an ethical ,responsible and responsive(to the community), elected response to the governors move un congestion pricing should look like. If you’re not on the same page with her then in my book, you’re doing something wrong.

We need congestion pricing because of it's benefits to public transit & the environment. Since the Governor's announcement, I've heard from many constituents who, like me, oppose her reversal. I will continue to stand with them & advocates. I'm a no on the IOU/bailout proposal.

NYPD officials have spoken often recently of their intent to “control the narrarive” by building out their own media apparatus. In practice, that looks like barring reporters from public streets adjacent to a mass arrest action, then posting videos like this

Regardless of their positions students have a right to protest, it’s problematic that the campuses are now conveniently being labeled as private property, considering the massive amounts of public subsidy they receive.

Corona Plaza wasn’t named one of the 100 best places to eat in NYC by the @nytimes by accident. It’s because of the hard-working, mainly immigrant street vendors who serve slices of the world there.

Corona Plaza is a cultural & economic hub. Local street vendors have been collaborating w/ city agencies to add trash receptacles, set rules, distribute community resources & host cultural events But this Thursday, DSNY Police were armed & deployed to remove them 👇👇
