Almost as if the narrative managers realised the public had started connecting the dots faster than expected. What changed overnight? Did someone from the Darbar panic after people noticed the uncanny timing of Helle Lyng suddenly seeking a telephonic interview with the Congress Prince @RahulGandhi? Or was there pressure from the ecosystem closer home - perhaps even through his TMC MP spouse’s political circles? Because the sequence no longer looks organic. It looks scripted. Question planted. Amplification ready. Ecosystem activated. And when the script started falling apart, the edits began. The funniest part? It was forged in the fires of the 1940s: the Muslim League's Direct Action Day that killed tens of thousands of Hindus, the demand for Pakistan as an Islamic state, and Gandhi's multiple fasts that were seen as pressuring Hindus while Muslim leaders got concessions. One can condemn the murder of an unarmed 78-year-old without whitewashing the failures of Congress leadership and Gandhi's approach to Muslim separatism. Equating any strong defence of Hindu interests post-Partition with "bigotry branded as Nationalism" dismisses legitimate majoritarian concerns in a civilisation that had just been vivisected along religious lines. Many nations define nationalism around their core civilisational identity; India is no exception, even if secularist dogma pretends otherwise. 4. Moral inconsistency: The post ultimately does what it accuses Godse of doing: it takes a complex historical episode, reduces it to caste identity, and weaponises it for modern political points. Easwar avoids engaging with the full truth — Hindutva radicalism was in response to Congress appeasement of Islamic radicalism and Partition trauma. He should not launder it through convenient Brahmin-baiting.
