Just received the Oura Ring 5 I bought. It is definitely thinner and less wide than the old one. Feels more substantial than it looks which is why I reckon they used the ceramic in all their comparison marketing.

@1bitlogic @SnazzyLabs my VW does it too! the issue isn't the camera based set up so change it with a real sensor, they're all not flawless. only flawless solution is having them be 100% manual but that would impact FSD performance since the cameras need to be able to see.

Tesla replacing a $10 rain sensor with no rain sensor and then being perpetually unable to make it work 8 years later is hilarious to me. Just use the one you can find on a $20,000 Corolla.

i was riding around in silence in the rain the other day and realized the sound of drops hitting the windshield is perfectly correlated with the rate at which the wipers should be wiping vision so far for this hasn't worked out, i suspect largely due to the camera positioning on the windshield some basic audio signal processing may rival the performance of a rain sensor

@byteHumi @WindowsLatest the issue with the mac is developing your game to natively run on a totally different cpu architecture and then having to maintain x86 and arm64 for all future updates. this could be easier if we all ran on ARM processors or all x86 but since its now a fragmented thing its less
