A memorable welcome from the Indian community in Nice. Though they may be several kilometres away from home, the bond of our diaspora with India remains as strong as ever.

@RepRileyMoore Anytime a southerner is president kidnapping is used as a tactic to get them out of power through destabilization The same can be said about terrorism in the north. Buhari became president and this issue slided without him putting in a proper fight

One year ago, Fulani Islamic terrorists stormed Yelwata, Nigeria, slaughtering more than 200 Christians. Most were women and children sheltering at a local Catholic mission. Today, we remember the martyrs. The world must not forget the Christian genocide in Nigeria.

I legit want to hear people in support of Canada’s decision out. Is it that charged, and before court, means guilty? Does Benjamin Mendy’s case, not at least confirm that one shouldn’t be called guilty, prevented from professional engagements until proven guilty?

Three weeks ago, I had lunch with Chairman Wontumi. We discussed Ghana, his trials, tribulations, and his political future. I was awestruck by the depth of his thinking. Stripped of all his previous political overreach in speech and conduct, he is a maverick well on his way to reformation, obviously influenced by possible outcomes of his court battles. Whatever the outcome, the man says, "I am not accepting everything being said of me, but it is good these things happen... a good learning curve. May our God be with him on this journey." I think remorse combined with a plea bargain should be considered, as long as we get back our money with interest. By the way, we met at the restaurant by chance. He paid for my lunch.

Boycott the World Cup, Ghana. Diplomatic protection for your nationals includes standing in for them when their rights and privileges are being undermined by a foreign country contrary to international norms and our collective sense of justice. Make the value of your nationality worth something more. Stand up for citizens.

I NEED TO GO TAKE A SHIT. so i'll make this quick; A lot of people are finding my tweet about google to be out of order. I know. I figured, I would be a little kind to you all and explain. With a little logic, you will get it too. 1. Google has 60k software engineers. Same as the rest of the faang. For 90% of their devs, what do you think their Day in a Life Looks like? Working on cutting edge software? Fuck NO. 2. Google has multiple products in existence already. They are not taking risks. The only job at google is to maintain existing products and/or add features here and there once every 5 years (if you're lucky). They hire geniuses to maintain competitive edge, and not because the actual job requires a genius. 3. If you graduated from MIT, from Ghana, with all that access and benefits, the worst possible decision you can make is go work for google and join the already existing 60K engineers. You'll get lost in the chaff. 4. You will not be on the team that does the real work. 6. You will be spending your time doing redundant stuff, editing buttons, and documenting the hell out of them. Before you know, 10 years of your life has gone by. Well, with Lot of money. A little tiktok search will confirm this. 7. However, this is fine if you are optimising for Money. Nothing wrong with that. But if you are in your 20s, I think you are pretty retarded if you are optimising for money (cc: @chamath ) and not taking as much risk as you can. 8. Now, I also do understand the young man. Just the classic textbook example of "success". I get it. Nothing wrong with that. I personally just respect people like @pazunre more. 9. Ghana is a shit hole now. Most of our leaders have misplaced priorities. No wonder our brilliant minds in tech always bounce out. Only Fair. 10. But we can't give up. I might just fuck around and have to become PRESIDENT OF GHANA to get the country back on track and save us all. We need to make Ghana great to retain our talents.

Be smart/good at regurgitating, go to MIT, go work for Google. Be at the wrong side of history. Such wasted potential. Completed PRESEC with this guy.

Nations have presidents who victims have widely accused of having engaged in all kinds of sexual crimes and violence. Even in the UK, someone connected to the Royal family has been notoriously documented to have been involved in these crimes. Somehow, you never called on the states to isolate such states until such crimes are prosecuted. Maybe even FIFA banning them from hosting such a tournament or participating in it. Yet, an African who is undergoing trial in a foreign country, who hasn't been convicted, somehow doesn't meet the moral standing for him to be involved in sports, and anyone who takes a contrary view isn't exercising discretion wisely and prudently?

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Ghana's government strongly disagrees with Canada's decision of not allowing Thomas Partey in their country, and has asked Canadian authorities to reconsider. Ghana's Sports Minister, Kofi Adams, said the decision is based on "very weak grounds" because being charged with a crime does not mean someone is guilty. He pointed out that Partey is still free to live and travel in England while awaiting trial, and said it is surprising that Canada is treating the charges as if they were a conviction.

The mistake was when the President openly said he wouldn’t run for a third term. The best approach was to hold everyone in suspense while keeping his democratic principles secret.
