Janaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnuary 6th, The Darkest Day of All Time, was in reality far less serious than the 750+ BLM riots. These weren't small affairs, far from big cities and the halls of power. Rioters set up a city state ("CHAZ") in the literal Capitol District of Seattle. An ex-mutual of mine became an Armalite toting warlord. 7 (?) people died there. Rioters sacked the Mag Mile in Chicago, and fought feds for 120 days in Portland. AN ACTIVE POLICE STATION WAS BURNED DOWN, after a medieval street battle, in Minneapolis. 35 people died; $2B in damage was done. All this would be presented as - per trained AI - 5-30x J6 were the parties reversed. Just a reminder.

@joanlarma @wil_da_beast630 We have the least restrictive immigration policies of any country on earth. By a long shot. Before you criticize someone for having a messy room at least make sure yours is clean. Similarly if you’re 350 pounds you don’t get to criticize someone who’s 220 for being fat.

yes they should be protesting "us". 'we" claimed to be the 'land of the free' , yet we have the strictest immigrations laws we ever had in the history of the US. our earliest immigration policies were way less restrixtive than our current immigration policy today . the US government is more hypocritical than the governments of the countries those immigrants come from

@joanlarma @wil_da_beast630 Their own countries have far more restrictive immigration policies & they’re protesting us? The most generous country when it comes to immigration? It’s very hypocritical, entitled, & arrogant. None of these people would consider me Asian I were born there.

@screami26845977 @RedWavePress Arms were very much in the hands of kids back when constitution was drafted. Kids were taught to shoot at young age.

@RedWavePress Sort of like “arms” and the 2A. No one imagined the weapons that would be in the hands of kids back when they wrote the 2nd amendment. They did not exist so they can’t be used today. Only weapons that existed should now be allowed. Bring back the muskets and bayonets

NAILED IT: Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito on Birthright Citizenship: “Justice Scalia had an example that dealt with this situation. He imagined an old theft statute that was enacted well before anybody conceived of a microwave oven, and then afterwards someone is charged with the crime of stealing a microwave oven, and this fellow says, 'Well, I can't be convicted under this because the microwave oven didn't exist at that time.' And he dismissed that…” “There's a general rule there, and you apply it to future applications. And what we're dealing with here is something that was basically unknown at the time when the 14th Amendment was adopted, which is illegal immigration. So how do we deal with that situation when we have a general rule?”

@pseudocrazy @RedWavePress But we have so many restrictions on the 2A, especially blue states, far more restrictions than 14a. This doesn’t make sense. The 2A is part of the Bill of rights, the OG constitution, not something that came 100 yrs later. Why can we restrict 2A so heavily but 14a not at all?

Let's apply this to the 2nd Amendment: the right to bear arms. In 1791, when it was ratified, automatic weapons did not exist. However, today they do. The world has evolved. Justices like Alito do not want to revisit the 2nd Amendment. They are okay with allowing people to posses (bear) guns that did not exist at the time of this Amendment's passage. However, justices like him want to revisit the 14th Amendment. They want to change this Amendment based on how the world has changed from its ratification. Inconsistent interpretation of the laws will bring down any nation. The process to amend the constitution is clearly outlined. If this administration wants to amend the 14th Amendment, going through the Supreme Court is not the outlined process. It only serves to weaken the constitution and the legitimacy of the legal system. By the way, "illegal immigration" existed when this Amendment was passed. People crossed the boarders without immigration approval. However, it was much harder to prove/track than it is now due to how the world has evolved (technology).

@football_rose @Eric_Erins Found the commie! No that’s not how things work. What’s immoral is people thinking they’re entitled to other peoples hard earned property. That is theft. I’m out bro. Not engaging with someone so retarded. Goodbye.

@SWildcat99 @Eric_Erins Jfc you are literally incapable of thinking for yourself. The people who live in the house should control it. The landlords should not get to sit back and control property they don’t use and then command the property (earnings) of tenants. Thats immoral & exploitative.

@SWildcat99 @Eric_Erins All you can do is pivot to bigotry, pathetic. There are no “model landlords.” Feudalism is an exploitative system that shouldn’t exist anymore. The people who live in the housing should own & control the housing unit, not a lord who feels entitled to not having to do work.

@Giannoulias @jonfavs @PodSaveAmerica Maybe explain the same you you explained your support for “I stand with Ukraine” which took a similar amount of funds. And let’s face it, most people, especially women, would much rather live under Putin, as shitty as he is, than the Ayatollah. You’re a phony.

Just for fun: what do these numbers look like for her demo - white working-class women? No hate at ALL, but the biggest tax-drain region in the USA is Appalachia. If you ask a proud Appalachian, or for that matter Black dude, about this, a fairly common response is "We pay in soldiers/blood." As true here?

.@GovPritzker, I saw your post honoring lives lost in Minnesota—standing publicly, naming Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and laying flowers in their memory. But where was that same compassion on January 19, 2025? That is the day my 20-year-old daughter, Katie Abraham, was killed here in Illinois. She was innocent. She did not knowingly put herself in the middle of an ongoing law enforcement situation. She was not making a dangerous choice. She was simply living her life—and it was taken from her. You have never said her name. You have never come to where she died. You have never acknowledged her publicly. And beyond that—you have never even responded to me. I sent you a simple, non-political letter. Not for attention. Not for headlines. Just a father asking for clarity, for answers, and for understanding of the state’s position. You never replied. And now, in the wake of another tragedy here in Chicago, your public display of compassion elsewhere—while remaining silent about victims in your own state—feels deeply disconnected from the reality families like mine are living every day. Instead, you continue to defend sanctuary policies that create the conditions where preventable tragedies like hers can happen. This is not about politics. It’s about leadership and accountability. When you choose to publicly mourn some victims while remaining silent about others—especially those lost under policies you support—it sends a message. Whether intentional or not, it tells families like mine that our loss does not matter the same way. So I am asking you directly: Where is your compassion for my daughter? Where is your acknowledgment of victims here in Illinois? And when will you take responsibility for the consequences of the policies you defend? Say her name: Katie Abraham. Stand where she died. Show the people of Illinois that every life matters.
Governor JB Pritzker@GovPritzker

Standing with Minnesotans tonight and paying my respects to Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
