Upper-middle-class families are in a weird dead zone with college. They make too much to qualify for meaningful financial aid, but not enough to casually write $100,000 checks every year without it completely changing their life. So the kid looks rich on paper, gets little help, and the parents are expected to absorb the cost of a house down payment every single year. College pricing has also obviously become absurd.

Companies could save time and money if they hired people almost entirely on IQ. Not sure if that’s legal, but would make good sense. Think about it.

one app doing $20K MRR or five apps doing $3K MRR?

@athcanft I do not want to risk my money on ads because I don't know anything about ads yet. So it is gambling for me.

sol autoresearch is something else

You're "solving unemployment" by spamming job applications with AI slop? Welcome to SF. Congratulations on finding a negative externality to abuse for profit.

once you understand that distribuition is the ultimate skill to learn is the day you will stop being broke. because, nobody cares you came up with an original idea that never got a single pair of eyeballs on it, instead of your friends and fam. the world does need more originality, no doubt there, but if you understand distribution then you can truly do anything.

I'm seeing a lot of air traffic tracking apps being released and crushing it on socials And it's really just a Flightradar API wrapper, probably one prompt to build the whole app 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ appkittie.com to do research on more ideas

I know people are supposed to have a growth mindset but I am pretty sure I do not (and the whole premise seems a little fucked to me)
