Holy shit I forgot about this! I owned this on VHS. Seeing Goku kick the shit out of Lord Slug with Disturbed in the soundtrack was one one of my most hyped up memories as a kid.

There isn't a single frame of this, that isn't a twisted version of the events in the lore. You see a scene, where Da Hood Elf and some homies are hiding from the first pokemon evolution of a Nazgul, which is a ripoff from the scene in the Fellowship of the ring! You have your generic armies, generic talks, generic vibe of a generic landscape and absolutely NOTHING that even remotely feels Tolkien epic. You have Guyladriel kissing a Temu version of Hunter Schafer, some orc alliances(totally in line with the lore) and heartaching Sauron forging the One Nosering with his little hammer. None of this is a good Lord of The Rings adaptation. Not one second. And we have 2 more seasons after it.... Amazon will go down in history as the most persistent company to suffer the well deserved backlash, instead of ending their suffering and money burning early.

L Post. Your own browser doesn't block the sponsorships either. They're not ads lol Youtube Premium does not play a single ad. It's the same as using an ad-blocker. If you install one, the sponsorships play anyway. Because again - they're not ads. To skip them people need to install the browser app that specifically blocks videos with sponsorships. Or, if you use Premium, press the "Jump Ahead" button that automatically skips the sponsor part of the video.

@BoltTheWord Used games used to be a way to live frugally. Now it's become a luxury. Last year I was trying to see if I can get Mario Kart 8 for Switch, I called up Gamestop and they were selling it for $5 more than what Target was selling it new.
