@tipsy_tussle @ChefGruel No new tests have been published. With all the clean up River City Waterway Alliance has done around here, and @sacsheriff moved people off the rivers we anticipate the fecal matter is significantly less

@ChefGruel In the Sacramento valley many farms use river water to irrigate the fields. There are many homeless that live on the river. They bath and take dumps in our waterways. Any new testing available @SacWalkSafe?

As I’ve said already, I don’t think it’s specific to a restaurant but a supply chain. Even if Taco Bell is one outlet, there are others. And my bet is still on lettuce. BUT why isn’t anyone asking why there is human poop in the soil of farms. This can ONLY come from human feces that’s been festering in soil. Cyclospora outbreaks originate from human fecal contamination of water or the agricultural environment. The parasite matures in the environment and can contaminate fresh produce that’s eaten raw.

The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in locating an at-risk missing person. The MP is 57-year-old Thuy Nguyen. Thuy is at-risk due to having a mental health condition. Thuy is 5'04, 110 pounds, with black and white hair, and black eyes. Thuy was last seen wearing a black sweater, yellow short sleeved shirt, black sweatpants, and white house slippers. Thuy was last seen around 12:00 p.m. on July 13, 2026, in the 3900 block of Rose Street. If you've seen Thuy or know her whereabouts, please contact the Sacramento Police Department immediately. Just read Trash! A Garbageman’s Story. Fun book. With @TheCityofSac sending out patrols for proper trash sorting, the authors comments about recycling ring in my head. The idea of recycling and the actual recycling that happens are 2 distinct things and often compete with one another

@CollinRugg Now for the PSAs that almost all of the recyclables people put in their bins are in no way recycled. Film plastic, soiled food containers are not recyclable people.

Sacramento, California, will now be inspecting residents' trash to make sure they are in compliance with state law. The City of Sacramento will send crews across the city to track and check that residents are sorting their trash properly. It's just a matter of time until they install Flock cameras inside your trash cans.
