DYK: The world’s 522 PDBs hold US$23.2 trillion in assets and are responsible for 10-12 % of global financing. Their annual investments reach up to some US$1.4 trillion. This is more than the micro-finance sector or official development assistance!

New findings show that annual deaths of children under age 5 reached a historic low in 2022. While progress has been made, the battle to end preventable child deaths continues - with 4.9 million children lost in 2022 and millions more at risk without urgent action.
