@NolanAnalyst Such kind of horrible behaviour simply deserve to be ignored. The more you engage with such hate talks the more those people feel alive. The best way to deal with such disgusting people is to ignore them and show them their voice means nothing and nobody cares about their hate

I’m honestly disgusted to see Lupita Nyong’o being harassed on Instagram. The amount of racism and vileness it takes to attack someone like that is beyond me. If you can, go send her some love and support.

@ERCboxoffice I used to have a 3D Tv at home. Those were the days when I was crazy about 3D. But over the years my interest in it has worn off

REAL D 3D stats: 22,000 screens across 70+ territories. Be honest--is 3D your first choice when going to a film? Or do you try to avoid those screenings?

Just watched #ProjectHailMary on the #EPIQ screen at E-Square,Pune and WOW!🤯 There were literally only 6 people in the theatre… and they still played the show. Insane sound that shakes your chest, vivid visuals, and the whole place felt like a private screening🙂‍↕️

@_mrchaturvedi Imagine if this were to happen in July when Odyssey was coming out. No movie absolutely NO other movie would be able to take the Imax screens away from it. I think this also has got to do something with PHM's distribution.

Tea on #ProjectHailMary  from rumour mill. There’s something deeply off about what’s happening with #ProjectHailMary  and #IMAX screens right now. For the longest time, IMAX has taken the fall for programming decisions. The easy villain. But the reality? It’s not that simple. Programming isn’t fully in their hands. What’s really happening sits somewhere else… and it’s not pretty. The current movie was never even meant to be an IMAX-first film. That slot was supposed to go to #Toxic, which quietly moved out. The gap opened up… and it was grabbed. Fast. Too fast. The IMAX DMR conversion itself? Rushed. Not even properly ready till the last moment. But the goal wasn’t perfection. The goal was access. Access to premium screens. Access to higher ticket pricing. Access to that IMAX tag. And now comes the uncomfortable part. Despite already recovering costs and sitting comfortably in profit, the distributors of current movie are refusing to give up IMAX shows. Not even a reasonable split. Not even 50%. Just a complete hold. Even when: 1️⃣ The competing film is actually shot for IMAX 2️⃣ The demand is clearly there for #ProjectHailMary  3️⃣ The exhibitors are open to sharing 4️⃣ The studio behind it has already adjusted release plans to accommodate others Still… nothing moves. Let’s be honest for a second. The current film is truly strong, it doesn’t need to block others to survive. People will show up anyway. Screens don’t create success, they amplify it. Holding onto every single IMAX show, especially after entering profit territory, doesn’t protect the industry. It shrinks it. It sends a message that: “We’d rather dominate than coexist.” And that’s where it gets dangerous. Because IMAX isn’t just a premium format. It’s a creative commitment. When a film is actually designed for that canvas and still gets pushed out by something that wasn’t… it tells filmmakers one thing very clearly: Don’t bother. Don’t invest. Don’t innovate. Just play safe. And if that mindset sticks… the long-term damage will be bigger than any opening weekend number. This isn’t about one film vs another anymore. It’s about whether the system rewards intent and craft… or just timing and aggression. And right now, it’s leaning heavily toward the latter.
