I decided to ring @samaritans for the first time for support when I was very distressed last night. They spent over half an hour talking to me despite how little I could communicate. I am alive today because of that phonecall. I cannot recommend them or thank them enough! 💚

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has died at the age of 96. The patron of many charities, including the Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland, her involvement with QNIS brought essential recognition. Her Majesty always placed particular importance on public and voluntary services.

RIP #QueenElizabeth being awarded the Queens Nurse Title was one of the proudest moments of my life. Having the opportunity to have Queen Elizabeth’s signature on my award will be something I treasure forever @QNI_Scotland
