American says both his grandparents were school teachers. One of them stopped working to raised their kids, so their income was only about $20,000 per year On $20,000 in a year, he was able to buy a house, support a family of four, buy 2 cars, send my father to private school. He was even able to retire 10 years early He says this kind of life is now impossible and that’s why young people feel “hopeless” “But in 2026, our government, our society is geared solely towards maintaining the wealth and comfort of the boomer generation. Every year without fail, proposals that help young people, proposals that help poor people, first time home buyers, yada, yada, yada fail in Congress. — But every year, hundreds of billions of dollars in Social Security increases sail through the chambers of Congress without a second thought. There is really no support system for the younger generation at this point.” “Most people are trying to come to grips with the fact that they are never going to be able to retire at all, let alone retire 10 years early. It's just not the same world that it was, not even close.” - Roughly 80% of Boomers were able to buy homes - High estimates of Gen Z say only around 20-27% will be able to buy a home (this seems very generous)

If you have never been to Japan I highly recommend taking a vacation there sometime soon. I have said it before, but it really does feel like you stepped into another world. The sights are beautiful, the food is incredible, the service is next level, and the culture has this deep respect for other people that you do not see everywhere. It is not perfect and nothing will ever top America for me but visiting Japan is genuinely something special. I would not recommend actually living or working there long term unless it has always been your dream. Visiting and living there are two very different things. I am just really glad they are our strong allies in the Indo Pacific. It is wild to think that 80 years ago we were at war with them and now we are working together against common threats. Crazy how history works sometimes.

I love how Americans are finally realizing that their country is dog shit on every measurable level other than maybe military. Education, healthcare, happiness, unity, technology, manufacturing, family, quality of life etc. They are all like, "Oh no, China and Russia and Iran want to hurt us because of our freedom and quality of life!" Sure bro, your skies are poison, your country is divided, your food is poison and trash, you will live to 65 and die of obesity and diabetes, you have no universal healthcare, you are over taxed, over worked by far, consumed by porn, political divide, don't produce or export a damn thing other than war, make shit movies and music etc. Like wtf does anyone in the world want with America? Trust me, no one wants what you got, I promise on God lol 🤣.

This post has a quarter of a million “Likes” in 48 hours Americans are losing it realizing they work more than peasants used to work “I've actually f*cking had it with the United States of America — I gotta go to work 40 sometimes 50 hours a week only to get 2 weeks of paid vacation — peasants used to get 154 days off. I'm not even treated like a f*cking peasant” “I can't f*cking do this shit anymore. And all while this shit is happening, they're f*cking constantly attacking your psychological — y'all just kicking me when I'm f*cking down. I can't go anywhere because they f*cking hate us — while a ruling class of Satan-worshipping, baby-eating pedophiles comes for my f*cking kids every way, or form B*tch. Taxes, fees, fees, taxes, tolls, taxes, check engine light, taxes, tickets, taxes, pedophiles, taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes. B*tch, I'm done” For reference: 2500 B.C. The Pharaoh took 20% of the slaves’ harvest. 2025 A.D. The government takes 35–60% of your income through income tax, FICA, sales tax, property tax, gas tax, inflation, and fees.

Any elite school that has a black share above 2% is likely still engaged in racial preferences in favor of blacks. If elite universities want to reduce their population-disproportionate Asian student body percentages they will have to change what their academic mission is all about — it needs to be less about valuing academic performance and intelligence in their students, and more about valuing other things. (Which, thank goodness, is not going to happen.) Because, let me tell you, the far-right tail of the IQ distribution curve is brutal (almost no blacks and fewer whites than Asians), and as long as Asians dominate it the way they do, the elites are going to have Asian-heavy student bodies.
Alec MacGillis@AlecMacGillis

"After the 2023 ban on affirmative action, the share of Black students in Hopkins’ first-year class nosedived. The year before the ban, Black students made up 10% of the first-year class. The year after, they amounted to just 3%....'It feels like everyone is Asian now.'”

@SaltyFrederick @RoofeDodger @vali_nasr Let me guess, you are going bring in antimissile batteries to shot down anything fired from Iran shores towards the ships and you are going to strong arm insurers to cover for ships passing through the strait while under fire. Good luck with that?

Saudi Arabia is voicing a broader international concern that U.S. blockade is a dangerous escalation. It further closes all trade in the Persian Gulf, could lead to more violent conflict there but also lead to disruption of trade in the Red Sea. It could bring the global economy to its knees before it does Iran, especially since Trump is still asking for surrender rather than a deal.
The Wall Street Journal@WSJ

Saudi Arabia is pressing the U.S. to drop its blockade of Hormuz, fearing President Trump’s move to close it off could lead Iran to escalate and disrupt other important shipping routes on.wsj.com/4efSCxe

Artificial intelligence automatically denies an American’s life saving heart surgery She has a complete breakdown over our healthcare system She pays $10,000 per year for her health insurance and needs heart surgery to save her life. She’s been denied the surgery and told she must pay out of pocket “I have been paying for this insurance for 4 years now. I've never had a problem with it before — I can't have the f*cking heart surgery I need to have in order to literally live — So guess I'll just f*cking die” Her surgery was automatically denied because of artificial intelligence (she posted an update, I was able to confirm) This is a major problem, companies like UnitedHealthcare have been caught using “bad ai” intentionally to automatically deny coverage. This is real and widely reported

He was also allegedly in the process of se*ually assaulting her, when interrupted by neighbors who called the police. The man is believed to be targeting women and has allegedly sh*t AT LEAST two women today.

@RoofeDodger @vali_nasr So you expect Iran will allow ships through while its oil is being blocked from leaving?Entire 25% of global oil will be removed from the equation. All the gulf nations economy will go down with them as they are dependent on strait as much as Iran. So smart ass, care to explain?
