Was going to take my wife away for a couple of days .. The price of the hotel wasn’t to bad until I noticed it was £12 a night to park ( at the Hotel ) and £16 each to have use of pool not to mention £14 each for breakfast… is this the new normal now. Hotel room £168 for 2 nights (reasonable) Parking £24 to park Breakfast £64 Total £256 (not so reasonable)

@SamC1970 @sophieopossum It doesn’t equal it but it does make it difficult to do certain tasks and people with autism have it differently it’s a spectrum as well.

The way autism and ADHD dominate most neurodivergence conversations online, you’d think ADHD is the most common co-occurring condition for autistic people. It’s not. The one that shows up the most is actually Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), also called dyspraxia. Struggled to learn how to ride a bike or drive? That could be DCD. Can’t catch a ball no matter how hard you try? DCD. Messy or slow handwriting? DCD. Still pause to figure out left from right? DCD. Tying shoelaces feels harder than it should? DCD. Following choreography or mirroring movements feels impossible? DCD again. Depending on the study, up to 90% of autistic people also meet the criteria for DCD.

@sophieopossum That’s horrible 😭😭😭😭 I don’t know why they’d do such a thing honestly it’s difficult out there as it is. I’m still trying to go for my autism assessment I’ve waited 14 months plus I’ve had 5 all inconclusive to IQ and developmental trauma so they couldn’t diagnose me

2 boys aged aged 11 and 12 designed a webpage to say why they couldn’t lose their favourite place: Penrhos nature reserve , so they chose to run 20 miles in April their initial target to raise was £100 , their friend Bertie joined them and caught up the miles, they decided to increase their target to 26 miles and on Sunday 3rd May 2 boys aged 11 and 1 aged 12 will finish their marathon ran to #SavePenrhos Let’s get the boys to their 🎯 by Sunday they need £692 to get there ! @_SignalNotNoise What printer do you use. I know only certain ones will print for sublimation and inks too please :-)

Step 2 - spend a bit of time and design something decent using AI (Usually Grok) and print it onto the special sublimation paper. Yes it looks backwards, it has to be mirrored this way so it doesn’t print in reverse on the product.

@cavesofsteel Not getting answers is one of my biggest frustrations at work! I just work in a large shop but some decisions make no sense to me. I just want to understand better but can be seen as being difficult, but I’m not (usually) I’m just curious.

One of the hardest things of ASD to me is people perceiving my behavior as something different than it means. Today at work I was feeling very frustrated no one could provide me an answer for something I need. Everyone was telling me to calm down because I was anxious.
