Long Kelvin's developing all round nicely, getting more confident particularly good to see him scoring classic centre-forward goals: headers, scrappy finishes etc opportunism and ruthlessness are such important skills. glad he's developing them

The extended format of tonight's event was really helpful and revealing. Leam Richardson warmed up as the evening went on, and we got a much better sense of what he's like, what he values, how he wants to do things at #ReadingFC, etc, which is harder to get a sense of in shorter-form interviews. Think this format just suited him better. He was up for blunt questions and had a good sense of humour. Very grounded chap. Came across as very personable, v authentic guy for whom values (personal and professional) are very important.

@TheTilehurstEnd The booing and performative over reactions during games needs to stop, can clearly see it’s having a negative effect on some players.

Performance overall: just not good enough. But a clear problem today was a lack of confidence, and if a late turnaround like that - with goals for Lane and Ritchie - can't inject some confidence, I don't know what can.

@SimFromBucks Listened to both the club website interview and BBC Berkshire and have to admit some alarm bells are going off in my head. Too much emphasis is being put on the timing of the equalisers rather than the second half performances as a whole

i am not expecting LR to blast his players, or to not have a positive spin on things, but there's little/no recognition that fans were angry on Saturday because (largely) they watched a terrible second half and as a fan who wants to buy into LR, that's needlessly frustrating

that theoretical scenario really equates to "it's all positives"? seriously? #ReadingFC (tbf this was in response to Ady W saying conceded goals are perceived more negatively the later they are - LR didn't bring this up completely unprompted)

@TheTilehurstEnd Do you feel that the players lack belief in themselves actually being a good team? To me it’s almost like they don’t currently have the belief or conviction to dominate & win games well ,the first instinct always seems to be ‘bloody hell we are winning let’s hold on here’

@TheTilehurstEnd Agree on the Leam Richardson discussion, my view is Leam is well aware of the current shortcomings in the squad, his signings so far + his comments give me confidence that we will have a different looking side next season with more pace and power added to the current quality

@Club_1871 Sad to hear, I thought the original founders of 1871 did a great thing and the first couple of seasons were amazing , definitely lost its way a little since but that’s nothing to do with the original founders more to do with those individuals who have taken over the “drum area”

@RoyalsReviewPod The back 4 were solid & limited a good side to only a few chances. Not enough composure on the ball in the 2nd half, Savage especially comes to mind. Once again lacking any real pace to get the team up the pitch. A good point though , hopefully the injuries won’t be to bad 🤞
