Whenever I post about Google Finance, I get two top questions: (1) when are portfolios coming? (2) can we get an app? I’m excited to share we’ve added portfolios (can even import from other finance tools with just a screenshot 🤯) and we’re shipping a new Android app today!

Fun stat: In the last month, people have created more than 1,000,000 native Android apps directly in @GoogleAIStudio!! Huge amount of progress here and so cool to see the breadth of what folks are building.

America’s digital economy relies on our physical infrastructure and the electricians, pipefitters, welders, manufacturing workers & more who build and maintain it. Today, we’re making an additional @googleorg commitment to help 300K American workers prepare for these in-demand skilled trades careers, expanding on the $1B we’ve already provided for digital skills and training globally.

We just launched the ability to build native Android apps directly in Google AI Studio for free! Since launch last week, people have created more than 250,000 Android apps. Likely >99% of these folks never built an Android app before, everyone can now build, no coding required!

📣Important clarifications on the new advanced flow for sideloading on Android! 1) It is a one-time process. Once you go through it, you can choose to allow installing unregistered apps indefinitely. 2) ADB installs are not affected. The waiting period does not apply to app installs via ADB. 3) It's my understanding that you don't have to keep developer options enabled after you enable the advanced flow. Once you make the change on your device, it's enabled. If you turn off developer options, then to turn off the advanced flow, you would first have to turn developer options back on.
