I am neither, but, rather, an "opioid moderatist". This position has both camps angry at me and my balanced colleagues. Sort of like junior high school....

Sad case but was Maggie addressing her pains in constructive way? Taken opioids for years but they lost their efficacy. 9 pains and one pill won’t fix it. FYI was sick and in recovery for 25 years so am well aware of what the health system offers. Why didn’t she try marijuana?

@ThomasKlineMD If the depression is from circumstances of having no control over getting the help and prescriptions needed or loss of function, getting opioid medication to stop the pain definitely helps along with finding a doctor who will actually help!
