I visited the 9/11 Memorial in NY today. It was as emotional as I expected. What I wasn't ready for, was all the smiling selfies people were taking. Or the photo shoot someone was doing.

@solitarybrother 17 months post-Covid total loss of taste and smell for 2 weeks, my senses of taste and smell are still evolving. At least everything doesn’t smell like poo anymore. Ate a spoonful of ghost pepper Jolokia mustard last weekend & didn’t break a sweat. It usually makes people cry.
