@RogersHistory I am a teacher apprentice (in its existing format where I have to have a degree) I've worked at my school as TA, HLTA and now teacher. Learned tons working on the job.

@secretHT1 I'm finishing a degree as well as teaching and last week my son (11) said he never sees me. Mum guilt right there. Three months until the end of the degree...

Today I spent a good chunk of time just playing with my kids. I’m in the mood as I know it’s half term and no work next week. It’s made me realise how absent I am during term time - not physically, I’m at almost every dinner, weekend etc, but mentally, I’m not. Just do better.

I don’t know which teacher needs this well-being tip, but at the end of the school day, leave your room and barge into the first classroom you see and rant at the teacher for 15 mins straight. It doesn’t matter if they’re busy- you have to put yourself first. #edutwitter

If you want the alleged: holidays great pay finish at 3pm easy working conditions weekends and evenings off then be a teacher yourself. Theres a recruitment crisis, we need as many new people as we can get. There’s loads of ways to get into it. I’d be happy to help.
