Chess is the only competitive game on earth with a built-in, objective, real-time win-probability signal. Stockfish outputs an eval for every position — a continuous probability that one side wins. Football doesn't have this. CS:GO doesn't. Poker can't (hidden info). Only chess. @PixieChess is the only onchain game sitting directly on top of this primitive. And nobody has productized it yet. The missing primitive: live perpetuals on the outcome of a chess match, priced continuously off engine eval. Polymarket proved people will pay to trade beliefs. Hyperliquid proved they'll pay to trade continuous price streams. A chess match is structurally both at once — a binary terminal outcome (win/loss/draw) with an objective probability feed updated every single move. It's the cleanest perp market I can think of. Mechanics: — Stockfish eval → oracle → AMM — Perp priced 0–1, tracks live win probability — Resolves on mate / resign / draw — Spectators LP the match or take directional positions — Every move moves the market; a blunder is a liquidation event This turns the core weakness of competitive chess — it's boring to watch without skin in the game — into the product itself. Polymarket during the 2024 election showed what happens when outcomes become tradeable in real time: watch-time goes vertical, and the audience self-selects into people who actually care. The obvious objection is match manipulation. Any player can short their own match through a separate wallet and throw it. If this isn't solved at the protocol level, the whole thing is DOA. Here's how it's actually solvable: 1. Whitelisted markets only. Perps live exclusively on sanctioned tournaments with KYC'd pros who've signed anti-collusion terms. Casual matches stay unmarketed. 2. Blackout lists. Players and their linked addresses (via onchain identity) cannot take positions on their own matches. Enforced at the AMM contract, not by trust. 3. Anomaly detection on eval deltas. If a titled player makes a move Stockfish rates as a sub-1500 blunder, the market auto-pauses pending review. Train a classifier on engine-correlation data across the player's full history — throwing becomes statistically detectable. 4. Position caps in phase 1. Keep individual exposure small until real manipulation data exists. Scale with evidence. 5. Terminal-state resolution only. Phase 1 perps settle on mate/resign/draw, not intermediate eval. Spec is live, but manipulation requires actually losing the game — which is economically expensive and reputation-destroying at pro level. Treating integrity as a first-class design primitive instead of an afterthought is what separates a real perps market from a clown market. It's not risk mitigation bolted on after launch — it's what makes this buildable at all. Why @PixieChess specifically: — You already have wagered matches on Base. This extends what you're doing, doesn't compete with it. — You already have identity-linked pros. The blackout layer is half-built. — You already run tournaments. Whitelisted markets are tournaments with an order book. — A third party can't build this because they don't own the match surface. You do. The frame shift: right now you're a chess game with NFTs on top. With this, you become the financial layer of chess itself. Different order of magnitude, and defensible because no other game can replicate the underlying primitive. Happy to spec this out further or prototype the AMM side. DMs open. @joshqharris @paradigm

AI agents are starting to move real money. The problem: there’s still no independent check between what an agent intends to do and what actually gets executed. Today, that changes. We're Nava, and today we’re coming out of stealth with an $8.3M seed round from @polychain, @archetypevc, @hack_vc, @FalconXGlobal, and @seedclub / @seedclubvc to build the trust infrastructure the agent economy is missing.

@gakonst Will that works nice on tempo?
Saurois@Saurois

Spent the last week building on @tempo mainnet. Ended up shipping the first job marketplace where AI agents actually work for money. An agent gets a webhook, pays $0.0001 to see the task, does the work, AI judges the quality, payment auto-releases. No humans needed anywhere in the loop. Disputes go to a 3-agent AI tribunal that votes independently. Built the whole escrow in solidity, deployed and verified on chain. agentworks.site cc @matthuang @dankrad — would love your thoughts on agentic payments on @tempo

imo today's addition of a few external validators to tempo mainnet is prob underrated, this is real enterprises running reth+commonware consensus in production w/ HA setups + quick snapshot recovery, way more professional stuff than i ever experienced before, without impact on performance and no reason to believe that there'll be slowness just given commonware/simplex consensus design (esp as we introduce erasure coding/minimmit whenever is needed down the line)

Delphi Ventures is extremely excited to lead the seed round for @tori_finance Most crypto yield is reflexive and collapses when markets cool. Tori fixes this by packaging institutional delta-neutral strategies into a composable, yield-bearing token: strUSD The yield comes from real trading revenue across global markets, not emissions, not incentive programs, not single-strategy dependency. Completely uncorrelated to crypto market direction These are time tested strategies that have generated consistent returns for decades, but were locked behind accreditation and seven figure minimums. Tori makes them accessible to anyone with a wallet. The real unlock is what DeFi adds. strUSD is a low-volatility, exogenous asset you can use as collateral, borrow stables against, and loop for recursive leverage without high liquidation risk. That's not possible with a traditional fund share. If spreads compress in one region, capital rotates globally. Cryptographic proof of reserves verifies every position in real time. No black boxes Follow @tori_finance and @0xNox_eth.

imagine palantir × polymarket × ai agents I built an open source intelligence platform tracking 16,000+ objects in real time across the globe: - 11,000+ flights with live tracking - 700+ ships - 100s of satellites - earthquakes, volcanoes, active fires - global conflicts & protests - internet outages & GPS jamming - 300+ live CCTV feeds worldwide - data centers & submarine cables - prediction market odds pinned to every country click anything on the map, and an ai agent pulls real-time context and generates a full intelligence briefing with sources

Today @stripe, @visa and @ZodiaCustody by Standard Chartered have joined as validators on Tempo. These organizations collectively process trillions of dollars in payments every year across nearly every country in the world. As some of the largest institutions in global payments, they maintain infrastructure at massive scale and have deep experience with the reliability and uptime standards that payments demand, bringing that same technical excellence to validate the Tempo network. We'll continue expanding the validator set with additional partners on our path to permissionless validation.

@YanLiberman @Delphi_Ventures @tori_finance Reading about Tori’s positioning over the past few weeks — institutional yield without crypto market exposure is something only a handful of teams could pull off. Curious what made you go solo lead on this one when most rounds these days are co-led

Thrilled to be leading @tori_finance's seed. Most on-chain yield is reflexive, it originates from within crypto and compresses the moment markets cool. Tori sources returns from an entirely different universe: institutionally scalable delta-neutral and HFT strategies in TradFi that have consistently generated strong low double-digit APY for decades. Completely uncorrelated to crypto market direction. Access to this was previously gated behind 7-figure minimums and accreditation. Now it's open to anyone with a wallet. The real unlock though is what crypto adds to this. DeFi composability lets users recursively leverage their position, pushing effective yields considerably beyond the baseline. You can't do that with a traditional fund share, this is a case where bringing something on-chain makes the product strictly better. Add full on-chain verifiability of every position and you get TradFi-grade transparency alongside access and composability that TradFi simply can't offer.

The yield comparison on the homepage is wild when you actually do the math: AAVE 2% Ethena 3.5% T-Bills 4% Tori 15%* 4x Ethena with the same delta-neutral framing but real institutional strategies underneath. Curious which strategy will dominate at launch — money markets or futures arb?

Zero crypto market exposure + 15% APY is a spec sheet that didn’t exist 2 years ago. The fact that you’re shipping with Sherlock + Nethermind dual audits before chasing TVL tells me everything I need to know about how this team thinks about risk. Quietly one of the most serious DeFi launches of 2026.

@Saurois @arc Oh that sucks, hope devrel sees this. As someone who's worked in the industry for years. It can get really noisy - especially when you're a hot project. Im something will get sorted. Have you considered starting your own arc builders group?

@dankrad Just shipped a big update to AGENTWORKS. Full on-chain escrow is now live on Tempo Mainnet — payments lock in smart contract, release automatically on accept, % platform fee handled on-chain. Dashboard added to see posted and taken jobs. Also fixed AI Judge, submission viewer, and agent dashboard. Will be appreciated for feedback. ^^
