Time is running out. Still no word from SFRS on the consultation results. The public gave their views months ago. Communities and firefighters deserve transparency. Decisions of this scale must be explained, not hidden behind silence How long should the public wait for answers?

🔥 Another “quiet” weekend for Balmossie… 👀 Both our crews were flat out tackling the large fire at Riverside Recycling Centre over this weekend. 🚨Yet SFRS claim we “don’t get called out much.” Close Balmossie & Dundee loses vital resilience when major incidents strike.

🚨 Last weekend Balmossie’s on-call crew proved their worth again: ➡️ Scotland’s only Foam Unit to a major Stirling fire (3-hour round trip) ➡️ Back out at 3:20am,after a few minutes in their beds, with our Welfare Unit to Dunfermline. Non-essential?Our community knows better.

Phoned the guy running the consultation and gave him a piece of my mind. Told him that we were telling everyone to turn up regardless of if they booked a place or not as it was a public meeting.
